Get transported back to the Arctic Club Gold Rush Fraternity in the 1900s. Excellent vintage vibes, perfect location - walkable to pike's place market and the pier. The only caution is that you need to plan for parking - there isn't any available for reasonable prices nearby (valet is $65 per day).

It was great to learn about the hotel history and how they try to incorporate the theme overall. The walrus and polar bears are very cute. The bar are was very fun and the service was great, along with the drinks they had to offer. The continental breakfast was delicious with many options to pick from. The valet service guy were the kindest, with offering options in case you didn't want to do valet they gave us info first about the parking information. They are really great staff members to the hotel. We ended up using valet because it felt safer.

The parking cost was ridiculous. The breakfast was fabulous. The picture of the dead lady in the bathroom really creeped me out, if I had been on psychadelics I would have had to check out immediately.

Cool, old, historic hotel BUT surrounding area is trashy, dirty and full of homeless. Pricier hotel in comparison to others. $65 to valet park because so few parking options. Told by staff, ā€œthe city raised the parking rates so we did too.šŸ˜ā€ Hotel nickel and dimes you. LOUD room with a squishy bed. Dinner was adequate. Drinks were good but pricey. Get into the room. No shower curtain. Never did get one so showered without one. Water everywhere so towels went to work. Staff said, ā€œwe tried to call about the shower curtain. It didnā€™t get to you because housekeeping wasnā€™t here so the told the cook.ā€ Say what? What was the cook going to do? Just get me a shower curtain. A lot of indifference while smiling in your face hoping you fall for it. Well stay elsewhere next time.

Reasonably priced hotel in a city full of overpriced hotels. Good clean, comfortable room with a decent bar and restaurant in the lobby. Just be aware that 3rd Avenue is closed to everyone but city busses for a good part of the day. Call ahead and speak to someone about parking.

We were disappointed that the bar area was closed for an event Unfortunately we were not told this until a few hours before leaving for Seattle. We were informed at 4:30pm our time (about 1:30pm Seattle time) the afternoon before we left. Due to the late notice we did not have an option of considering another hotel. We booked these rooms in March 2024 for October 2024 stay. I am sure the hotel knew the bar would be closed for an event prior to the afternoon before we arrived. This felt very deceitful to us. We were 2 couples travelling together. Due to the closure we did not have any option to sit together in the evening to enjoy a drink and some conversation. We ended up going to our own rooms. The hotel said they would tell us other places we could go, but it was raining and cold so we decided just to stay put. We paid the full price for this stay but we were not allowed to use all the facilities promised when we booked.

Rooms and hotel were comfortable and inviting. We really enjoyed the nostalgia and atmosphere of hotel. Please provide voucher for parkingā€” itā€™s too expensive to park at $65 per night. Also too many homeless people around the property ā€” unsafe. They do have a security guard which does help however.
