Walk out the front door, across a grass lawn and onto a sandy beach. Watch the bald eagles and sea otters play. Feel the warm sun on your face and the cool sea breeze through your hair. Listen to the waves on the beach. Feel the sand between your toes. Remember what fresh air smells like. Reunite with nature and sooth your soul. Roast catch of the day and marshmallows over the fire pit. Relax on the deck with your favorite person in one hand and your favorite drink in the other and enjoy the sunset and the sounds of nature.
This is a remote area with easy highway access. Your neighbors, the Bald Eagles, can get chippy at dawn and sunset, but your other neighbors the Sea Otters and the Seals are generally pretty quiet. If you don't like the sound of wave lapping at the shore, this is probably not the place for you.
Access is off highway 112, and parking is right in front of the cabin. There is space for 2 vehicles and a boat trailer.
This is a 900 s.f. one bedroom tiny home. Outside it has a large deck with a charcoal BBQ, a large lawn that goes right to a 1/4 mile long sandy beach. There is also a fire pit that is shared with the small home adjacent to this one.
All the indoor walls and ceiling are tongue and groove knotty pine, giving the space a warm, cabin-like feel. There is a gas fireplace and heaters in both bathrooms and the bedroom. The furniture is leather and comfy. The leather futon folds flat into a double bed that is surprisingly comfy for a futon. All the kitchen utensils, silverware, cookware, knives and coffee maker are very good quality. One bathroom has a toilet and vanity. The other has a shower stall with the toilet and vanity. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are spa quality. The towels are large, plush and soft. The toilet paper is Charmin Soft. The bedroom has a queen bed with very soft 800-count Egyptian cotton. The living room has views of the river and ocean, a 52" smart TV, a desk, and 75 power binoculars for enjoying the wildlife.
The hike to the cape flattery lighthouse is beautiful. Sea kayaking is great in all directions. You can paddle a kayak 100 yards off the beach and catch salmon, cod, macarrel, sea bass and dungeness crab.

The hot water is slow to get to the shower. The fireplace should be lit and set on the lowest setting, but sometimes a fireplace turned off will get past us. It can be difficult to light so consult the house manual and/or call us and we will do it for you. You will need to bring your own charcoal for the BBQ and firewood for the fire pit. You may burn anything that is loose, but it tends to be wet.
A well supplies the water. Like most coastal wells the water has a tint varying between a green tea and a weak black tea. It is chlorinated and goes through a triple filter and is even safe to drink. Nevertheless we provide drinking water via a water cooler with Olympic Springs
