Die Lage dieses Hotels ist wirklich einzigartig. Es ist ein 3 Sterne-Hotel und erfüllt alle Erwartungen. Die Lage verursacht jedoch bei vielen Gästen körperliche Probleme wie Kopfschmerzen und Übelkeit. Deshalb würden wir empfehlen ein oder zwei Nächte in Kurzras bei der Talstation zu verbringen. Bei schlechtem Wetter, was in den Alpen immer vorkommen kann, fährt die Seilbahn nur eingeschränkt oder auch gar nicht. Wir hatten leider an 3 Tagen Sturm mit Windgeschwindigkeiten bis 80 km/h. Einige Gäste sind früher , teilweise sogar nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Zu den Weihnachtsfeiertagen gab es je ein 5-Gänge Menü. Für unsere Tochter, die Vegetarierin ist haben sie ebenfalls sehr leckere Gänge serviert. Die Portionen waren reichlich. Das Skigebiet gehört nicht zu den überlaufenen Gebieten, die Gäste verteilen sich super, es gab bis auf die Seilbahn an der Talstation keinerlei Wartezeiten an den Liften. Für Fahrer, die es gerne etwas ruhiger und gemütlicher mögen also perfekt geeignet. Allerdings sind bei starkem Wind die Pisten am Gletscher nicht befahrbar und im Tal gibt es nur eine Umlaufbahn mit 2 roten Pisten und 2 Tellerlifte für die Skischule. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert!
