Overall not bad!
The room lights are of low quality and not flexible. The bed is comfortable enough. Basic amenities are provided. Buffet breakfast is not fancy but enough, as long as you do not have high expectation. Location is not that bad. Afterall, there is a big E-mart nearby. Overall, its a decent stay.

Work and eat elsewhere, sleep at Ramada Encore
Ramada Encore was a really cool hotel, brand new with modern amenities and technology. Unfortunately it was in a neighborhood that had ZERO restaurants or diners or any place to eat. The only consolation was a 7-11 store next door. Even the restaurant that offered breakfast was closed the rest of the day. So, if you intend to use the hotel for the few night hours - it is perfect for quiet and relaxed sleep. Surprisingly this was the first hotel in my life where you are fined if you do not return two key cards that were given to you. One more thing: I couldn't figure out why the clothes hanger was on the height of some 7 feet (over 2 meters)...

Great stay except that the amenities in the room are all in Korean, for example the air conditioner. We had a very very tough time trying to turn on the heater because the room was absolutely freezing.

Helpful staff made the difference
We stayed at this hotel on our self-drive holiday in winter. The location is convenient, and there is plenty of open-air parking. The room is basic, and is a good place to rest. The front desk manager, Rina is a gem. She helped us translate several things to English, and when our GPS broke, she even helped us call up the rental company to send us a replacement. We really appreciated the great service and help rendered.

Clean and Comfortable Hotel
Clean and comfortable hotel for the price paid and hotel staffs are very friendly. I will recommend if you are looking to stay for the night and not to enjoy the facilities as the hotel is equipped with minimal.

No Airport bus to the hotel
I stayed at three hotels in South Korea. One of the hotels was this hotel. They have no drop off for Airport Limousine bus for the hotel. If you want to economical, you take the airport bus to world cup stadium and take a taxi from there to the hotel or walk 15 minutes. The bus ride is about 5,500 Won and 3,000 Won for taxi. Otherwise, you have to pay around 40,000 to 50,000 won from airport to the hotel. I didn't realize there was no bus service for the hotel which was my misunderstanding before making the reservation. If I had known this, I wouldn't have made the hotel reservation at this location. I didn't want to spend too much money on transportation. Eventually, I arrived at the hotel safely by taking bus and taxi. I stayed 3 nights. My first day, one staff understood and spoke English well. I had no problems with my queries. However, the next two days, the staff were not helpful and told me they can't speak or understand English. It was odd since Jeju-do is known for tourism. I don't think Americans are their main tourists business. All the restaurants are near the world cup stadium and far from the hotel. The taxi drivers are not nice. They don't like to drop off and pick up for close by places especially from world cup stadium to the hotel since their fare is small. The first day the taxi driver complained about the pick up since he was waiting for 30 minutes in the car line at the taxi stop for a bigger fare.It was uncomfortable when we got off at the hotel.

Best option in Seogwipo
Great choice for Seogwipo. I booked this on hotels.com for a great price (only 64,000 won. Such a great value. Only caveat is that you are better to have a rental car here because of location. Good parking lot though.

The only draw back was that the facility has prevented using the A/C after 10pm due to the season (spring). I have never experienced nor heard of any rules like this one before. I hope hotel management fix this awkward rule before more people complain about it.

The hotel is new and so clean. The hotel also located not that far from some attractions. Just one thing, the wifi was too slow. The room was comfort.
