This place is a gem. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to the premium suite and everything was so nicely placed - very appealing aesthetic. The staff was so helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was good and has self-serve tea and coffee. It's also close to subway stations. The surroundings seemed safe and pleasant.

Excellent time
Excellent location! We didn’t try any of the food at the hotel since we were so close to so many restaurants… but the hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are spacious. Sleeping was very comfortable and the tub is as well. The only downside was the hot tub jets didn’t work, only the bubbler did. It’s really easy to get around from the hotel so if you want to explore Seoul, this is an excellent place to start.

You can tell the property was old, but the room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The bed was very comfortable so I slept well even with early morning construction noises just next to the hotel. The room was dark even during the day, but I was gone most of the time do it's fine. The bathroom lights shut off on it's own after 30 min or so. I had to turn it back on if I was getting ready in there. It was close to bus and train stations, markets, and restaurants. They do charge for ice. Overall, it was a decent stay in one if the better rooms I've stayed in.

The hotel probably was nice 20 years ago, it real is a dump. No assistance from staff with my luggage, staff English was terrible, very hard to communicate with them. My room had stains on the wall, the hotel really needs to be cleaned and updated.

Nice eclectic feel
The hotel was very nice. It had a nice eclectic vibe. The room we had was also quite spacious and had a wonderful bathroom with a stand alone tub to fit a 6 foot man!

The housekeeping service was excellent, the front desk friendly, the neighborhood convenient. My only dissatisfaction was with the soundproofing, which is insufficient for the noise of construction during the day and the passionate cries of romantic neighbors at night.
