This property was cute, quaint, and cozy. The upstairs are steep and narrow which could make it difficult for an elderly or disabled person. I found that it was difficult cooking for 3 in terms of how the kitchen was equipped (no steamer or strainer capability). The laundry facilities are in an external building. Was only able to do 3 loads of laundry in 1 1/2 days. The village was enchanting.

After traveling several days through Iceland we came to Lonsleira for a short visit. The apartment was so bright and clean. They had a washer and dryer and we were able to get our laundry done. The apartment owner was easy to access and very responsive. It’s a lovely place. Highly recommend !

Comfortable stay in pretty Seydisfjordur
Beautiful new-built duplex facing the "lake" and the old town. Great location, within walking distance of everything and on the round-lake path. Perfectly outfitted with patio and grill and well-stocked kitchen. The area is gorgeous, albeit marred by oversized (for the village) cruise ships which sometimes dock at the nearby ferry port.

The apartment (half of a house, really) was cozy, and had great views from both the living room and the bed room. We also appreciated the heated floors, especially in the bathroom. Though the kitchen was generally well-appointed, we had to purchase our own salt and sugar.

Great apartment in Seydisfjordour, with a superb view of the cruise ships and a modest walk to the restaurants and bars at the other end of the harbor. Very comfortable, ample parking, and a great place to hang out! Only thing to note, really, is the narrow staircase to the upstairs bedrooms (which seems to be common in Iceland!).

It was perfect! The apartment was spacious and very comfortable and the location was great, with lovely views from both the front and back. We loved the town and the whole area around it. The owner stopped by to make sure everything was good.

The farm house style was beautiful. There was coffee for the s and the apartment was very spacious and clean. We appreciated having a dishwasher as well as a laundry room and supplied detergent nearby. The deck was large and had a great view!

Excellent Christmas stay!!
It was a wonderful cabin with the porch facing a small lake. We almost didn't make it since some roads were closed due to ice but it was worth it and wish we would've planned to stay longer. The owner communicated well and self check in was very easy. I would highly recommend Lonsleira. There were three rooms total with double beds upstairs. Full kitchen and a very nice restroom next to the master on the first floor.

Home away from home, loved it!
This place was lovely, I wish we stayed there more days. It was perfectly situated in walking distance to restaurants and the center of town. It felt like a home away from home. It has everything you need! Especially an amazing view! Would definitely stay again and it is the best place we’ve stayed in our 10 day road trip around Iceland.

The space, layout and location were awesome. It was also very clean. The only improvement would be to let us get the key from the lock box on our own rather than call and meet someone but once we called, the owner came within minutes and was very friendly when telling us about the unit.

Place is very new; has all mod cons. Very nice. Stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep for some and the handrail isn't quite secured.

Everything superb!
Wow what a place! I have never stayed anywhere to match this. The house was beautiful, the owner so friendly and helpful. The location was like being in a fairy winter wonderland! Absolutely wonderful.
