Good location next to East Nanjing Pedestrian Rd. 5 minutes walk to Line 2 Metro Station which is the main line to the airports. I stay there every year when i visit Shanghai.

The receptionists I have interacted with at this hotel were extremely cold and unwelcoming. It felt like a joke at some point.

2nd stay and I wouldn't go back unless they fix it

I never post reviews coz most of the times, the hotels are half decent and frankly you can't please everyone but I will say this time, do yourself a favour and get another hotel. This was my second stay in this hotel (first one in 2013) and the quality has just gone down. Stains in the carpet, aircon not working, mossies in the bedroom (mossie repellent was ineffective), hot water only "luke warm" in the day time and hot in the night, the only saving grace was the hotel staff was extremely friendly and wanted to make my stay comfortable but the issues were beyond their scope. The corporate needs to steam clean the carpets, along with fumigating the rooms, that should take care of the mossies that keep you awake at night. The hot water, possibly they need to get a new system or heat it even in peak time instead of just off-peak. The aircon thermostat was broken, it went to below zero but the actual temperature was around 21 degrees or above. Service the AIRCON Corporate! Some pics attached, wish I could upload the video of the Honeywell thermostat dial going way below 0 and way above 30+ Celsius. Changed the room to 811 but had the same issues. Reception even gave me a fan to lower the temp, the worst part, even the reception was using the fan, speaks volumes about their aircon. Oh and don't even go to the spa, just don't. Corporate needs to fix this hotel to get it back to its previous glory.
