Overall the property was good value for the price we paid. The owner was welcoming and the room clean with a comfortable bed. The only drawback was a smell of sewer gas in the room. When a toilet was flushed in another suite the sink gurgled and let sewer gas come up the drain in the sink or shower. I ran water in the shower a couple of times and put the plug in the sink which seemed to help through the night. There was a container of odor eliminator on the shelf, this may be an on going problem.

It was a good stay, need to use vehicle if you want to eat or shoping (no walking distance) it was clean and quiet little motel.

The property and room were lovely and well kept, staff was very friendly, and check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. I’d give it 4.5 stars overall - the half-star deduction is because the bottom sheet was uncomfortable to sleep on due to being a flat sheet and not a fitted sheet. This made it slip around and bunch up through the night as there wasn’t a good way to keep it tucked in.

I was unsure because I usually don’t like motels, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. One suggestion would be to put a magazine in the room with area restaurants and things to do. Other than that it was great.

Nice spot close to the highway. Very basic. Good wifi, newly renovated. Good beds. Very clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice to deal with.

A motel stay, not satisfied.
A surprising motel stay that DIDN'T smell musty, however cold! Thin walls; can hear the neighbours as if there were a microphone! No shower cap, no kleenex, no extra toilet paper, no phone to communicate to the head office. Towel smelt of body odour. Pillows were over- sized, to big for comfort. Scatched all night from acarians( I don't have other allergies). We were told of their swimming pool, bit it's outside, and it's January!!! However, my husband slept well.

The motel was right on the highway but the units were further back and it was quiet. I loved the wooded area it backed onto and the gardens in front of the unit. It was not walkable but the drive into town was easy and relatively close.
