We were only here for one night but we would definitely stay again. It was nice to be able to control the room temperature with a traditional radiator thermostat. The room was nice and warm when we arrived but at night we were able to cool it right down. Other hotels we’ve stayed at recently have been very cold. The staff went above and beyond to help us, the young gentleman on reception organised a taxi for us and was so polite and professional. The only problem was the shower didn’t seem to work quite right for shower pressure but maybe it was just our room. We look forward to staying again and hopefully will have more time to visit the spa etc.

Sport facilities very good, food excellent. Staff very friendly, hotel itself a bit dated, but having said that a great place for a weekend break. Highly recommend.

Lovely location and great onsite golf course. Spa facilities amazing!! Room wasn't the cleanest. We got a free upgrade to an Executive double room as it was partners birthday but the room didn't look like it had been serviced in a while. Clean bedding but floor in bedroom and bathroom not clean, splash marks down the unit in bathroom, dust on furniture etc! Staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh

The room was well heated, facilities excellent. Because we like an open window we turned off the heating to save heat etc, requested an extra blanket … ant it arrived within 10 mins. The swimming pool was excellent.

Great stay

Great service, quick check in/check out, lovely spa/pool. Rooms a little tired and need refreshing but had everything we needed. Good breakfast (esp bacon!) Super views across Yorkshire. Great if you love golf too
