The owner and staff are excellent! Friendly and helpful the pool is wonderful to have and the common BBQ area. Exterior property is very well maintained. Our room was in desperate need of better maintenance. Finish painting the baseboards, clean the door jambs, repaint the high traffic areas that are worn away to the wood! REPLACE THE RAZOR OUTLET (haven't come across one of those in 10 years) in the bathroom with a GFCI outlet so you can use a hair dryer. Replace defective/worn kitchen utensils and pans. Repair dripping kitchen faucet.

This motel needs serious upgrades in the rooms. And since they advertise a kitchen there needs to be adequate supplies so you can cook for your family. The owners were nice and staff were great but there is only so much you can do when the rooms are so run down. The pool was great. It was overpriced for the condition. We won’t be back

Staff/owner(s) were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean although somewhat dated. Kitchen needed a cutting board and would be great to have one large bowl to mix a salad in. Grocery store was a short walk away. Highly recommend making the 15 min drive to Mara Lake for a swim! Pool at the motel looked clean and well maintained although we didn’t get a chance to use it, in favour of checking out the lake. We would stay here again!

The check in was very smooth. The staff were really nice and friendly. The rooms were big. The pool is a bonus. There are some restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

Staff were polite and accommodating however floors were dirty to our feet were black walkingaround the room ! I requested floor to be washed and they did, I especially loved the pool and met some great people,I would stay there again

The motel is in a very good location. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and more. They offer a communial gathering area with picnic tables and bbqs. A clean pool and Laundromat. It is pet friendly for an addiitonal cost. The room we had had AC, two queen beds, one in a private room. Washroom and kitchenette with stove oven and apartment sized fridge. The finishes were where it was lacking. The renovation job was a bit sloppy and the cleanliness was just not there. I think peak season pricing is a bit high for this space. The amenities (pool) and pet friendliness is what make this place shine.

This property has such potential, it's too bad the owner doesn't know how to manage a motel. The pool and added amenities such as laundry service, outdoor shower, etc., was well recevied but sadly did not compensate for the overall poor condition of the property. The rooms are generally in poor repair. Stains on walls, floors, bedding, etc. The men clean the rooms in the motel and its clear they have no cleaning expertise. They carry loads of laundry across the parking lots from the launder machines to the rooms, its a bizarre practice? There is no main supply room nor to they have housekeeping carts to restock any supplies. The cleaning routine is bizarre at best, very sporadic and uncoordiated leaving guests with a sense that the motel ownership doesn't know how to run the business. Dirty dishes in cupboards, left over food items from other guests, belongings to previous guests found under the bed, etc. There is no housekeeping service over the duration of the stay, no restocking of towels, beds made, etc. This property could be so much better if the ownership group read reviews posted about the business and made efforts to address them. Sadly, most of the reviews even from years prior all speak to the lack of cleanliness that has continued for several years. Definitely, the property is overpriced for the lack of quality of service and property condition. Don't be fooled by the pool and chose to stay down the road, until the reviews improve.

Older facility that is being upgraded. The overall appearance is good, clean and neat. Our room still had lingering but faint smoke smell probably from carpet. Heat wouldn't work so we used the oven on the stove (it wasn't too cold). TV wouldn't work. We only stayed one night but reported problems to staff. They required proof of our service dog status before they would waive charge which we provided. This was unusual in our experience.
