17 kilometres from the centre of Sierra Nevada is the Juan Francisco. Alternatively, the El Balcón de Nieves is situated 20 kilometres away. Some other accommodation options here include the Hotel Santa Cruz and the Hostal El Ciervo.

After you've explored Sierra Nevada, set out to visit more of the Andalucia area. Andalucia has beaches, coastal plains, rivers and mountains, as well as common Andalucia attractions like the ruins and castles. Active tourists can also enjoy snowboarding and skiing in this part of Spain.

It's well known that New Zealanders are pretty chilled, so consider staying a little longer and check out the Alpujarras Gate and Castle Lanjaron, in Lanjaron, 17 kilometres to the southwest of Sierra Nevada. The Castillo Lanjarón and Alcadima are just some of the short and long-stay options in Lanjaron. 50 kilometres to the southwest of Sierra Nevada, you'll also find Almunecar, which is home to the Hotel Almijara and Sol Los Fenicios. The Almunecar Beach, Pena Escrita and Cueva de Siete Palacios Archeological Museum are some of the most popular places to experience when you're in Almunecar.

At Wotif, we live, breathe, eat and sleep travel! So when it's time to hit the road to Sierra Nevada, we'd be honoured to take you there.
