This is one out of three rentable units under the same roof. You'll need to climb a flight of stairs to access it. The Heart and Wings Retreat Center offers easy access to downtown Silver City and the Gila forest. This serene getaway is five minutes from the highway and ten minutes from the center of town. You can hike or bike straight out of the house, or drive ten minutes to the Continental Divide Trail.

You'll have the second floor of the house to yourself.

We had the upstairs apartment which is very roomy and has its own deck which is great for star gazing and listening to a cry from a far off Coyote. Loved it so much we didn’t want to leave

Very cozy!
Overall stay was awesome. Location was great and very serene. The space was great for our stay. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the caretaker being on site, but it was actually nice to have a friendly face near by if we needed anything. The coffee was great and thank you for having it available! Definitely will be booking again since I will be in Silver City more often.

Restful retreat with beautiful mountain views!
Azaima was an excellent hostess! Her property was secluded, quiet, well maintained and clean. She had everything I needed for rest and relaxation. The hot tub was a bonus and I really enjoyed the deck every morning and evening. There is a short hiking trail, a hammock, security gate with a code for entry, so you feel safe and private. The dogs are friendly and the atmosphere is warm. Location is only a couple of miles outside of town which is quite convenient. I stayed here end of May for the Blues Festival and slept like a rock with the windows open and the cool breezes from the fresh mountain air. Would definitely stay here again!

Azaima's beautiful and restful retreat center was a highlight of our road trip through southern New Mexico. Immaculate, cheerful and restful, we enjoyed the hot tub, deck and very comfortable furnishings. She was a very good host, available and accomodating yet respectful of our privacy. We stayed upstairs and enjoyed the views from the deck, the spaciousness of the apartment, the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the facility. I did not enjoy the on and off again barking from neighbor dogs through the night. If you have poor hearing, like my wife, you will have a wonderful stay.

We had entire second floor which had a deck, small kitchen, and great country views with lots of sun. We loved the extensive library and New Mexico vibe. The location was ideal for us about 3 miles outside Silver City so it was quiet but close to town and amenities. Helpful and knowledgeable host well!
