The spacious house is located near the river SilverƄn, where you can go fishing and there is also a swimming area with changing rooms and a large meadow for playing just 2 kilometers away. In Silverdalen, where the house is located, there is also a bakery and a small supermarket for everyday shopping. There are further shops in Hultsfred, 11 kilometers away, where there are also restaurants and a train connection. Due to the location in Silverdalen there is also a bus service that runs 3 times on weekdays between Lƶnneberga and Hultsfred. Lƶnneberga, the neighboring town, became known through the story "Michel from Lƶnneberga" by Astrid Lindgren
The 100 sqm holiday home has just been refurbished by us and has 3 bedrooms with 9 beds and a baby bed.
On the ground floor there is the kitchen with dining area, the living room, a toilet with sink and a bedroom with a double bed and baby bed. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms and a spacious shower room. In the future, the house will be centrally heated by an air heat pump and, of course, will have running cold and warm water. A washing machine is available in the basement.
In the immediate vicinity you can experience everything about the stories of Astrid Lindgren. The sculpture by Michel is in Lƶnneberga. Michel's original farm in Lƶnneberga, here called Emil, is located in Katthult, about 25 kilometers away. In Mariannelund, 15 km away, you can visit the "Filmdorf SmĆ„land", opened in 2017, with all the information about the most famous series and films from Sweden and many original props. The leisure and theme park "Astrid Lindgren's World" in Vimmerby can be reached by car in under half an hour. And not to forget, if you want to stroke a moose's nose, you should go to the "MĆ„lilla Ćlgpark" moose park 30 km south or go to the moose safari in the Gronasen moose park. The last highlight is the large glass factory in Kosta, where you can watch how everything is made of glass and if you book in advance you can also make a glass yourself. There is also an outlet center on 30,000 square meters, where everyone can find something.
