Wonderful home
House was stunning and well equipped with everything. Pool area is the best and they did a great job having it ready for our stay. We wish the communication with the property manager would have been better. Otherwise 10/10 recommend.

Great place for a gathering of friends and family,.
Excellent home and property for a mixed group of adults and kids. Plenty of room, lots of activities to keep kids of all ages entertained. Kitchen was well-equipped. There were lots of hiking, sight-seeing and winery options in the region. We all enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful property inside and out that as others have stated in their comments needs work. I have detailed these in a direct message to the management company. It's their responsibility to clean things up. if they do it's a 5-star place. Otherwise don't set your expectations that high.

Returned for an anniversary
We got married here 10 years ago. We had such a great time we returned again with our bridal party to celebrate our anniversary. It was exactly the same. It showed a bit of its age, there was some chipping paint on the banisters outside, the coffeepot needed a little help to brew correctly and the supprt arm for the cover for the hot tub was broken. But it is and was a beautiful property. The bed linens are luxurious, as are the views. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a bit of seclusion and decadence.

Great property! Beautiful setting. Great indoor and outdoor space, plenty of room and privacy for our group of 3 couples. Clean, easy check in and out. Loved the hot tub and putting green. Would definitely come back. Location was remote but still plenty of things around like wineries, restaurants and breweries.

Great time, great property and would do it again in a minute. its an impressive home. The only negative is that the property needed to be deep cleaned and minor repairs. Don't let this stop you from going. Anyone and everyone would enjoy there stay at this property!!! It was awesome.

The Springwater Lodge was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. With a pool, hot tub and fishing, it allowed all of our family members, young and old, the opportunity to enjoy themselves. The lodge was well equipped, and the location was ideal for everyone. A great time was had by all!

Amazing getaway!
Springwater Lodge is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The grounds are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The location is peaceful and relaxing. We had 6 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room for everyone. The teenagers loved having their own space in the lower level. The pool area was one of our favorite places. We paid extra for the pool heat and I’m so happy we did. The weather was a little cool on some days so having the pool a little warmer meant we could still enjoy it regardless of the weather. We enjoyed Roseland Wakepark, Overland Morgan Horse Farm, Corning Museum of Glass, and Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures. We also rented a boat on Canandaigua Lake. I would recommend all of those adventures. Everything about this rental was easy. The booking process, communication before and during our stay, and the checkout process were all seamless. Our only problem was that our vacation was over far too quickly. Next time we will rent for 2 weeks!

Very beautiful location, we arrived on Thursday to start prepping for my wedding on Saturday and the stay was amazing, very relaxing, and fun. We can’t say enough great things, we wish the pool would have been opened like online said just missed communication but the hot tub was equally as fun, definitely a great hidden gem. We ended up having to pay an event fee, when not even near 50 people actually showed up. aHad to get insurance and a porta potty which we didn’t know until 9 days before the wedding which is pretty stressful but we still pulled it off.

Gorgeous huge house, but in need of a deep clean and maintenance
We have used this house in the past and will use it again in the future. It is a great property. Though there are some things needing attention; don't hesitate to rent this place. Just be aware of a few things.... Pros: Good communication prior to stay. Ample supplies in the kitchen including coffee and filters. Many bedrooms with private baths so we each had our own private space. Beautiful home and grounds. It looks like a resort. Private large secluded private property. Well stocked kitchen for all the cooking we did. Air Hockey was fun. Cons: 1 main entry door had a broken lock and was only secured by a small sliding lock. We felt a but unsafe because of this, but I'm sure they plan to do a proper fix. We were disappointed that we could not use the hot tub because it doesn't seem to heat past 99 and were not informed ahead that it had an issue. That temp is way too cold for fall. None of the fireplaces were able to be used, so we had to crank the heat in the house, so everyone was warm. We had some unexpected down time and were in search of some board games. There were not any. Not that it is a must but would have been a nice thing to have for the colder months. My bed was very firm and everyone else said theirs was too. Con for me. I didn't sleep well and had a sore back. Some people like this. More pillows would have been good. We were going to make a fire outside, but there was no kindling or paper to get the fire started. I didn't take notice if there was something to light it with or not either. Upper deck is in bad need of a paint job. I'm sure things like that are hard to attend too when the house is rented all the time because it is so awesome!! It was in need of a deep clean in regard to dust, bugs and slime. The ceiling fans, some mirrors and cool art hanging over the table were very dusty. Oddly dead flies on the floor here and there. Dead bugs on the high windowsill across from the loft. All things that build up over time and are cared for in a deep clean. But most of all, the slimy coffee maker. We got a few coffee grounds in the where they shouldn't be, so I started to wipe out the inside where the water goes after everyone else left. My stomach rolled when I pulled the paper towel out covered in slime. We made and drank a lot of coffee out of that thing. I did my best to clean it, but I really wanted to put it in the trash. This for sure needs attention.

A Bit of a Surprise
This was a family vacation for the week that included 7 adults and 6 grandchildren. We rented Springwater since the property was appealing to entertain both the adults and the grandchildren. It was a great space to do so - the arcade was a hit, the pool area offered fun-filled days and evenings. There were four separate families and the property offered private spaces for each. Very comfortable for all of us. Our vision was to spend a decent amount of time at the property so grilling out and using all of the amenities was important. The large yard was enticing since we planned for outside games, fishing in the pond, putting, etc. At the end of trip I would say we did have an enjoyable family vacation. Now, as someone who rents vacation properties on a regular basis here are the issues - totally disregard the video, it does not represent the current state of the property. For example, there are NOT two gourmet kitchens!!! The one that is inside the home is not the same in the video. The hot tub did not rise above 100 F. (Normal is between 102 - 104F). In addition, it wasn't clean and the cover did not work. The grill was difficult to understand on how to use and preheat - there weren't any instructions in the house for any amenities. Only two speakers in the pool area were functioning - and one had a blown woofer which made the music rumble. Don't expect the neon Tiki sign to work - it doesn't. We had a fire in the the firepit one night but the wood that was left behind was green. Surprising given the fact the property is in the country and wood should be seasoned for guests. I understand summer months can be challenging for the pond (algae blooms) however, it would be valuable to alert guests to the possibility it could be entirely covered by pond scum (it was for the majority of the week). The putting green is unusable - it hasn't been maintained in years. Again, the video is deceptive - there aren't any colored lights on the outside at night. There is a need to have an electrician review the switches in the entire house - confusing and many don't work. I had to ask when the grass would be cut since it was overgrown when we arrived. They did come and cut it within our stay. Lastly, trash bins should be moved away from the house or hidden. In hot summer months, they stink. FYI - there is a grocery store, liquor store within 5 minutes. We rented a pontoon boat on Canandaigua Lake and loved it - all 13 of us!

Anniversary Celebration
A spacious lodge on a large, secluded site enabled our family of 16 - 8 adults and 8 children with ages ranging from 7 to 17 - to gather for a week long celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. Wayland and Springwater are relatively small towns with limited stores and eateries, but more extensive shopping and restaurants are located within 30 minutes of the property. The outdoor patio, pool, hot tub, and tiki bar offer a wonderful entertainment setting - we enjoyed this area immensely. Overall, we were very happy with our rental. A little more TLC will further enhance the property and make it an even more enjoyable vacation experience.

Fabulous Private Family Getaway
We found the property to have everything we needed for grandparents (us) our adult children and grandchildren. There were 6 adults and 4 children under 8 (one infant). Our other daughter couldn’t make it as they got Covid, so many beds were unused. We recommend this place for sure. Grandpa fished in the pond with the grandsons, the children loved the arcade room and the pool and hot tub. It was a wonderful, memorable vacation with all the amenities we wanted! Good Long Weekend
We really enjoyed our stay. While the house has a bunch of bedrooms and sleeps 14, only my wife and I occupied the property. The house is very well-kept and comfortable to be in. We stayed in the large upstairs master bedroom which had a really good bed and large bathroom. While there is not much to do in the area in the dead of winter (unless you like ice fishing) there are plenty of options for hanging out in this house and just relaxing. We liked the room on the lower level which had an air hockey table and arcade games, but spent lots of time in the main floor living area too. The kitchen was well stocked as far as plates, pots and pans etc. and all of the applicances worked efficiently. The property manager (Belisa) was also very repsonsive and answered my emails very quickly. My one suggestion for the owners is to update the electronics. Although there were Samsung and Sony TV's that were probably really nice when purchased, they seemed to be somewhat old and were not "smart", and we could not figure out how to operate the external speakers. We would go back again.
