This precious gem of a cottage is nestled in the famous Mirador de Ses Barques only 15-20 minutes away from Soller and the beach. Be prepared to fall in love with the beautiful tapestry of the Serra of Tramuntana contrasting with the deep and bright blue of the sea. ‘Miramar’ cottage means ‘look at the sea’ and this is the beauty of this charming holiday property – an idyllic spot for contemplation, silence and peace. The cottage is separate and private; with own parking area and access. ‘Miramar’ has been tastefully restored while retaining the charm and authenticity of a traditional rustic style Mallorcan cottage. This two level cottage comprises a hall area with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, one single bedroom, and a modern shower room. The top floor has a welcoming open space with dinning table and sofa, integrated kitchen and sitting area with a cosy fire place. Lovely Quiet rural cottage with spectacular views.
Lovely cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful view and sunsets from a big verandah. There are numerous places to sit outside all with lovely views. The interior is nicely presented and everything you require is there. The location is not near the town of Soller as shown on the map but instead a 15 drive up into the countryside so therefore not the 18 minute walk to the train station or restaurants as stated more like 2 hours! The road down to the cottage is rough with very tight turns however it is worth it for the peace and view. There are no shops nearby but the local restaurant is worth dining in. We had a lovely holiday in this cottage however the beds and shower mixer are badly in need of renewal and the grounds are likewise in need of attention.

We loved the Miramar Cottage. The property was full of wonderful character and the views from the balcony were spectacular. Watching the sun set over the mountains and Port Soller each day was a special event. The property was clean, very well stocked and comfortable. We appreciated the peace and tranquility in the olive grove with the friendly sheep. This property is a "one of a kind". The only problem we had was difficulty with the bumpy, twisty, narrow access road. We would recommend a compact SUV to access the property. It would also be useful if the owner would look to improving the road.

Fantastic views, idyllic hillside setting. Very rustic and authentic. Only issues were the stoney,twisty access which was difficult to drive over and lack of wifi.

Lovely house up in the hills
Great house with sublime views , surrounded by olive trees and wandering sheep , down end of a twisting dirt track . Need a car , not near any shops or services 15 minute drive to Port de Soller , or 15 minutes to town of Soller , house is very well equipped , we enjoyed our weeks stay in August

The highlight s are the views from a well equipped Varanda. Comfortable kitchen lounge area. The wood burner was essential especially on the days it rained. For cooler months it might be an idea to provide a heater in the bedrooms downstairs? We are already planning our return trip

Sehr eigener aber idyllischer Ort. Bitte bringen sie Hinweisschilder an, denn wenn man kein Maps hat oder Maps nicht funktioniert, ist dieses Haus nicht zu finden. Die Zufahrt ist eine Zumutung und nur mit einem geeigneten Geländefahrzeug befahrbar. Das Haus selber ist sehr schön und liegt für Wanderwillige ideal.

Perfekt. Einzige Schwierigkeit : Die letzten 800 m zum Domizil sind ein steiler Schotterweg mit engen Kurven, nur für sehr geübte Autofahrer stressfrei zu meistern.

Very hard to reach the house by car. You have to go down hill with almost impossible corners. Walking is also hard. The beds are too short. No wifi When we arrived it was a puzzle how to get in. The view however is stunning. Thlocklock

Genial para un retiro.
La casa estaba un poco retirada de todo el ocio de Mallorca, nos dijeron que la playa estaba a 7 minutos andando, cuando realmente estaba a 20 en coche. No había verja de entrada, estaba todo abierto, por lo que el acceso a la casa es muy sencillo. La casa muy acogedora y con unas vistas a Soller preciosas. Pero hace falta coche para todo. No hay nada alrededor, solo vegetación.

Perfect View but Difficult to Reach
As the pictures show, the location is perfectly located in the mountains near Soller and Fornalutx. Unfortunately, the house is difficult to reach with a larger car (van or station wagon). It is not connected by any public road but only a private road. We had problems to reach the house with our Mercedes V Class and do not recommend the location for anybody with a car longer than 5 meters. For everyone else, this location is perfect to recover and start hiking tours. Booking, check-in and all other administrative tasks were easy and the host is very friendly.

Beautiful finca with great view in olive grove
Very beautiful and romantic finca in midst of olive groves and sheep. Despite it is directly next to a hiking trail, it is very lonely in the hills next to soller, only few hikers pass by. Unbelievably beautiful and exclusive view on port de soller from the terrace. Access by car through small serpentines is a little adventurous but makes the finca even more extraordinary. Don't arrive in the dark the first time! Kitchen is small but main functions are available. Water cooking in a pot, filter coffee mashine not really working, but moka pot available. Thank you very much, we had a great week here with our 1,5yo kid.

Das Haus ist an besonders schöner Lage. Die Olivenhaine wunderschön. Der Ausblick auf das Meer und auf Port de Soller fantastisch. Die Autozufahrt ist steil und unwegsam. Mit kleinem Auto jedoch zu bewältigen. Die Kälte in der Nacht hat uns ein wenig zu schaffen gemacht. Die Elektroöfen waren zum Teil defekt und nur mit Ventilator am laufen. Ungünstig für die Nachtruhe. Wir waren in der ersten Hälfte des Aprils im Haus, daher auch die Kälte. Die Ruhe, das Haus und die Umgebung waren jedoch super. Danke.

A ne jamais louer en dehors de l'été
Cette belle propriété qui dispose d'une magnifique vue sur le port de Soller, sans doute très agréable en été, n'aurait jamais dû être proposée à la location en hiver. Elle ne dispose pas du chauffage nécessaire (ni de l'isolation- inexistante) pour un séjour en dehors de la période estivale, malgré la mention de la présence de chauffage dans la description. Nous conseillons une voiture plutôt petite ou en tout cas qui braque bien pour accéder à la maison (chemin de pierre étroit avec virages en épingle à cheveux) et pour circuler en général dans les villes de montagne aux alentours. Les échanges avec l'hôte ont été peu aisés du fait que cette dernière doit en référer à la propriétaire et connaît peu la maison.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dieser wirklich traumhaften Finca und haben es erneut sehr genossen. Ein Mietwagen sollte zwingend vorhanden sein, da Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nicht fußläufig vorhanden. Den Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus kann man, wenn man die recht enge Zufahrt scheut, aber bei normalem Fußzustand gut schaffen. Vielen Dank!

Klein aber sehr fein
Eine tolle, typische Finca mit allem was man benötigt. Sehr detailliert eingerichtet mit einer wundervollen Terrasse und einem Traumblick auf Port de Soller. Das kleine verträumte Grundstück könnte aus seinem Dornröschenschlaf geweckt werden um es noch traumhafter zu machen. Die Gartenanlage könnte eine Überarbeitung gebrauchen, aber es hat uns nichts gestört.

Entspannen bei wunderschöner Aussicht
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Häuschen & haben uns sehr über die frischen Zitronen, Orangen & Blumen gefreut! Wirklich nett, vielen Dank! Insgesamt haben wir über drei Wochen dort verbracht mit unserem Baby. Dafür war das Haus auch total gut geeignet, genügend Platz, ein Tor zur Sicherung der Treppe, Kinderbett & überdachter großer Terrasse, die genügend Schatten spendet. Unterhalb des Aussichtspunkts liegt das Haus einfach traumhaft mitten zwischen Olivenbäumen & ist somit ein super Startpunkt für Wanderungen oder bestens geeignet, um einfach auf der Terrasse zu entspannen & den Ausblick zu genießen, was wir die meiste Zeit getan haben! Es wird einfach nie langweilig! Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist tatsächlich abenteuerlich, da sehr enge Kurven, insbesondere die letzte steile Kurve vorm Haus. Wir hatten einen Citroen C3 Aircross, damit ging es, aber es war recht knapp. Daher am besten einen Mietwagen mit kleinem Wendekreis nehmen & unbedingt bei Tageslicht anreisen. Ansonsten kommen einige Wanderer am Haus vorbei sowie die Besitzer der beiden Häuser am Ende der Straße (der Weg endet dort), aber ansonsten ist es schön ruhig! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit im Haus & unseren tollen ersten Urlaub gemeinsam als Familie!

Traumlage! Kann nur weiterempfohlen werden .
Unser Gesamteindruck war nur positiv! Es hat kleine Mängel oder Dinge,die im ersten Moment nerven…aber die Lage mit der wundervollen Aussicht machen das alles sofort zunichte. Wir würden,falls wir wieder nach Mallorca reisen,dieses Haus sofort wieder mieten!
