Driftwood Chalet overlooking Shuswap Lake, perfect for couples!

In any season, this is a perfect Romantic Get-Away for 2, yet roomy enough for two couples to have their own space. One Queen bed in the bedroom, and a second Queen bed and sitting area in the Loft.

Whether you want to snuggle in for a cozy Winter retreat, or relax on the deck on a hot summer day, the Driftwood Chalet is your home-away-from home!

Our HOST FEES you pay will already INCLUDE the cleaning fee.

Pristine lakeview Cabin, located in the Heart of the Shuswap, walking distance from the town of Sorrento, BC.

Open-concept 850 sq ft chalet-style lodging has lots of comfy seating to get away from it all. Vaulted ceilings, large windows and a spacious Loft take in the stunning views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Large covered deck with gas fire-table and BBQ, surrounded by Nature in a park-like setting. Over 5 acres of property surround you, bring your snowshoes or hiking boots, and your Golf Clubs...?

GOLF on site!! We have built and maintain a 9 hole Golf Course as a hobby, completely on our own property! (It is NOT a public course)
Our registered Chalet guests are welcome to play or walk our golf course, as long as they are respectful. “Events” are NOT permitted. If you wish to invite a friend or family member who is not staying with you, please ask us first.
There are few right and left handed clubs at the first Tee, and lots of golf balls. There are course layout maps and score card for your use in the Chalet Binder.
Play a "round" for fun, or to warm up for one of the larger Public golf courses nearby!

Driftwood Chalet is tucked back from Blind Bay road for privacy, yet only 1 km to the Trans Canada highway for quick access.

Minutes away from the amenities of Sorrento and Blind Bay: groceries, restaurants, stores, beaches, parks, boat launches, and Marinas.

The closest public beach park is at the end of Gillespie Road, 900 metres away. It can be easily walked in about 10 minutes, or drive in under than 2 minutes! It is a small, local beach access park, a real hidden gem

Driftwood Chalet
Gorgeous little chalet with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Very very clean and well maintained. It’s very easy to get to from Hwy 1, just a steep driveway up! Kitchen has everything you need (even a coffee grinder which was perfect!). Comfy sofas and a TV with Netflix. The bathroom is spacious, super clean, with a full size tub/shower. Nice seating area with fire table on the deck. Only thing to note is there is no hot tub. Was not an issue for us though. Even though the property backs onto Hwy 1 the chalet has great sound proofing so it is very quiet and pleasant.

Definately the best little retreat we have come across. Shops not far away and everything reasonably priced. Loved the cabin, modern and pleanty of room for 3. A good book, a great view, cozy by the fire. Hope the golf course gets finished :)

Divine Driftwood Chalet
We just spent a week at the beautiful Driftwood Chalet in Sorrento BC. Super modern and clean with every thing you need. Beautiful deck with a view of the Shuswap Lake and Copper Island. Perfect getaway
This Chalet was the most perfect spot for myself and a friend from Switzerland to visit. The inside is very up to date. Finished with really nice details and is packed with everything you could possibly need. It had rained the first few days of our trip, but the covered and gated deck with fireplace was still a nice place to sit and visit. My 1 year old son enjoyed it just as much. Kind hosts, and we will definitely be back to enjoy this little paradise.

We fell in love with the cabin, quiet and it is the perfect place to disconnect yourself from the city. Fabulous cabin. Impeccably clean; beautiful lay out with an open concept and loft area! Everything worked perfectly - nice stove and fridge and a microwave, toaster, kettle. Wonderful stocked kitchen, everything you need and more. Great washroom. The place has its own outdoor propane fire table and beautiful large deck looking down towards the lake.TV/ free internet , if you need to be connected . Fabulous host - will recommend Driftwood Chalet to family and friends. Enjoy your stay!

A wonderful getaway
Absolutely LOVED our stay! My wife and I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. The place is very clean with lovely decor. Beautiful fireplace inside with a great seating area in the loft to look out at the lake or the back part of the property. Our fave was sitting on the patio all bundled up next to the fire and watching the lake and listening to the birds. Such a relaxing weekend for us! Looking forward to coming back in the summer.
