Treehouse Hideaway Villa I--A Nature Packed Soufriere Experience

Come stay at this amazing Piton and ocean view location right down the road from the highly acclaimed Jade Mountain Resort and the Anse Chastanet beach, known for its excellent diving and snorkeling. This cozy and romantic tree house-inspired villa is especially designed to take in the amazing views of the iconic Pitons and St Lucia’s unique lush tropical environment. Located between the popular Anse Chastanet beach and resort and Soufriere town, this one bedroom, one bath villa with kitchen comes with a very welcoming staff, refreshing private and natural salt plunge pool, and lush tropical gardens that are certain to delight. The villa is close to Soufriere town and a number of popular attractions in the area.

This fully furnished and recently remodeled small villa is your home away from home. It's now a designer's showcase. It provides the perfect location for enjoying one of the most popular areas in St. Lucia. The unique and open architecture of the treehouse allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open deck, enjoying the sweeping views, feeding the birds, and dining on the freshest local food, some right from the garden or direct from the neighborhood.

The entire villa has been renovated and now features a wonderful chef's kitchen with views of the pitons (the only one we know of in the area), a river-themed tiki bar for hanging out and enjoying the views and great vibes, beautiful hand crafted wood lighting throughout, new bedroom with handmade arts and crafts king bed, a new bathroom complete with vessel sink and rain shower, and a salt plunge pool with a waterfall feature and with ample room and lots of privacy for enjoying the Caribbean sun. The villa has been rebuilt in a timeless "treehouse arts and crafts" style with lots of art for our guests to enjoy.

This is the perfect small villa to enjoy a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa II, which sleeps 4. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you need for your wonderful stay.

The owners have long time connections to the island. They spend a lot of time on the island and can help you with all of your unique planning needs. Our goal at the Treehouse villas is to make sure that you can have the perfect local experience and enjoy your stay in ways that you can't by staying at one of the resorts.

The villa comes with a complete staff that is available to make sure that you can have the best possible experience in the area. Our local staff at the villa are very experienced in hospitality and staying at the Treehouse allows you to enjoy local meals that are expertly prepared by her local host. Our team can also help you plan your trip and help you with booking any of the popular activities, from climbing the Gros Piton to hiking the famous Tet Paul Trail to snorkeling and diving adventures to sunset sailing around the Pitons to visiting local area artists to dining at the top resorts, hotels and local restaurants.

The bedroom features a luxurious king size bed, new air conditioner (if you need it), and plenty of closet space to store your clothes and belongings. You'll also find a smart tv. In the living area you'll find a futon couch (that can also be used for sleeping) and an entertainment area that provides a music system, and full wifi that works nicely throughout the property, and a safe for storing your valuables.

The new kitchen now features high ceiling, lots of ventilation for working, a nice bar, and much more counter space for cooking up local, tasty treats. It is all set up with the tools, utensils, and appliances that you'll need including a fridge, full gas stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, and more.

New food delivery: We also now offer a grocery shopping service and a custom meal delivery service for our guests. You can order groceries or complete lunches and/or dinners. This is a good way to experience the excellent local cuisine.

Electricity and outlets: The Treehouse villa is wired for standard 120v and 240v. We do have ample standard 120v US outlets throughout and also UK style outlets. No need for guests to bring any adapters.

Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II
The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. It's designed for a single traveler, a couple, or a couple and a guest. The Treehouse II villa is a little larger with a top and bottom floor. It's a perfect villa for a couple or two couples, sharing a special time together. The kitchen in Treehouse II is a bit larger and futures more working space and appliances. Both Treehouses come with their own private plunge pools and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family.

So leave your cares behind and come stay in the romantic, nature-inspired treehouse in one of the best locations in St. Lucia and enjoy the views your friends back home will wish they could experience too!

Treehouse is the perfect name for this property, just right for 2 guests. The property has lovely gardens all around and we really enjoyed the pool area with lounge chairs and very clean plunge pool. So fun seeing all kinds of birds, especially hummingbirds. There is a road in front of the property, can be busy during the day. Highly recommend getting a meal prepared by Fabi, delicious and you’ll have enough food for days. Also, Damian can help with driving around and arranging any trip or dinner plans. He is very responsive. We loved St Lucia and our time at Treehouse I.

Unique rental
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The owner provided plenty of documentation about the property and the area so you can get the most out of your stay. The property manager Damien greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the place. The location near Anse Chastanet beach is great and a good launching point to explore the many sites in the southern part of the island. The road from Soufriere to get to the property and the beach is probably one of the worst I have ever driven, but, funny to say, you get used to it. Our only real issue was around sleeping. As mentioned in other posts, the road to the beach resorts is almost under the deck, so you do hear the vehicles going in/out. Also, the gardener started his day between 6-6:30am on multiple days (despite Damien asking when he could start and us saying 9am), so you heard movement around the villa early which was a little disturbing.

Very Nice Stay at Treehouse 1
Spent five nights at the Treehouse 1. Transfer from Airport was super smooth with Damian. Responsive to what’s app texts. Fabie the chef had a wonderful dinner to greet us upon our arrival- so much food. Delicious and left overs lasted us for days. Car rental on property is a must - so convenient and able to travel on our time. Road up the hill is an experience but one you get used to quickly. Really nice location just out of town and not far drive from beach or hikes. Treehouse had everything needed for a nice stay. Bugs were not bad. The birds and tree frogs provide a memorable backdrop. View from Treehouse 1 is good not great. Can see one Piton far left. Sunset was blocked by large tree- but we knew this going in. More road noise at night than we expected but not a huge issue. Plunge pool was very nice for afternoon or evening cool off. Kitchen had what we needed. Bedroom air conditioner felt great at night. Shower was just so so - no issues with water - just black mildew in caulk around the edges. Wi-Fi and Netflix on TV in bedroom if you wanted it. All in all a nice, open air stay.

This was a lovely property set in a private jungle scene with beautiful flowers surrounding us. We were perched on the mountainside and had glorious views.in a spacious bungalow style house with a plunge pool we spent a great deal of time in. Beaches were within a half a kilometers walk or car ride and tours were easily to attend. All in all, we completely lost track of time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The views were stunning! I wanted a view of the Pitons to sit outside and admire and that’s precisely what we got. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to be able to take a cool dip in the pool. Damian helped us manage all our transportation needs and we were thankful not to have to drive.

I really do no think I could have picked a better property for a first trip to St Lucia. Crevice was very kind and helpful. Treehouse is located close enough to town and a dive shop was at Hummingbird Beach. We spent most of our time in the water and anywhere you went snorkeling/diving it was easy to find good reefs to explore.

Honeymoon hideaway bliss!
Every moment of our ten day stay at the treehouse hideaway villa was spectacular! We loved being away from it all and really getting to experience the beautiful surroundings. We had a baby bird that was just hatched on the deck when we arrived and it was awesome to watch her grow! It was peaceful and tranquil up in the mountains. We walked to the few hidden beaches that were recommended by the host and made our way to anse chasnet and mamin a few times. The hospitality managers charmain and Chrisell were lovely and brought us some special treats throughout our stay. The plunge pool with new waterfall was a gift from the sun gods! We saw amazing sunsets and enjoyed the quiet time. The bed is sooo comfortable, you feel like your sleeping in a cloud! We were very grateful for ac in the room because it does get hot! I also would recommend a car if you like to venture out. We splurged for one after a week and it was a game changer! Keith and Cynthia are super star hosts and you can feel the love they put into the treehouse. Their local recommendations for food and activities were a hit! If you are looking for a off the beaten path experience (with security and amenities) this is it!

Beautiful and Amazing
Love the views from the Treehouse! Love hearing all the birds in the morning while sitting on the deck with my coffee. The treehouse is wonderful place to stay while in St. Lucia! We used the A/C at night in the bedroom. Charmaine was a wonderful host. She went to the market and picked up a variety of fresh fruits and made an amazing dinner for our first night! John made sure the plunged pool and the outside was always clean. Charmaine helped us to get to all our daily plans with setting up taxi drivers and guides. One of our best vacations!

Wonderful week in paradise
The Treehouse 1 was nestled in the beautiful and colorful tropical plants with a fantastic view of the Pitons and the Caribbean waters. We also enjoyed the many birds and fed them bananas daily! The pool area was private and relaxing. The house was open air, but was cool in the evening with the air conditioner in the bedroom. Charmaine greeted us upon arrival and prepared a fantastic meal for us that day. She was there when we needed her for questions or to schedule an excursion or dinner reservations. We walked to the beach as we were happy to get our steps in. The house was close enough to town to enjoy the many restaurants and attractions but tucked away for privacy. The road in front of the house was busy during the day but we enjoyed watching folks going to and from work or the beach. The weather in St. Lucia was pretty much the same every day high 85 low 79 with UV index of 5 which was nice as we did not burn. The sunset view from the Treehouse was spectacular every day. All and all a great house for relaxing as well as beach, hikes and water excursions.

True Paradise
We stayed at the treehouse villa for a week and had an unbelievable time! Charmaine, the property manager, was so attentive and she is huge reason this stay is so great! She makes sure you are enjoying yourself and will arrange different things you want to do (private massage at the villa, sulphur springs, hiking, etc). The only reason location is 4/5 is due to it being louder in the morning with the cars going to the resort but otherwise an amazing place to stay with beautiful views!! Absolutely would recommend staying here.

Treehouse Hideaway Anniversary getaway
Our stay was magical! Amazing views and such a fun experience in an open-air treehouse. Both Keith and Charmaine were quick to reply with any questions or requests. The property was very well appointed, especially the kitchen and we didn't need anything while we were there, but they were both great in helping arrange a rainforest tour, professional photos and a couples massage! The pool area is great and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on at a rental property and the room got very cool and dark for an amazing night's sleep! The bird-watching was fun too. We had a fabulous celebratory dinner at The Pavilion across the road, highly recommend. The service, the meal itself the views were outstanding. The drive up and down the mountain to the property was breathtaking and exhilarating! Thank you for making our one-year anniversary/honeymoon extra special.

My husband and I enjoyed a week of R&R in the midst of lush greenery and comfort. We are deeply thankful for Charmaine and Chrisel's hospitality and delicious cuisine. The solar panels and environmental commitment of the property owners is commendable and part of the reason this spot was so perfect for our getaway. The salt water plunge pool was a daily treat and we loved the open concept of the villa. Overall, a delightful time in a beautiful spot. Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers wanting an array of possibilities, including lots of time to sit back and relax, read and rest!

Beyond wonderful!
We loved everything about the Treehouse, from the view of the Pitons to the incredibly comfortable bed to the delightfully refreshing plunge pool. It was such a joy to start the day with a breakfast of yogurt and tropical fruit on the deck, watching and listening to the birds and basking in the soft air. The trees surrounding the deck make you feel like you're in a little nest in the forest. (The Treehouse deck is now one of my official happy places.) The Treehouse owners have thought of just about everything their guests might want or need (be sure to check out Keith's comprehensive guides when you're planning your trip), but if we had any questions or concerns, Charmaine, the amazing property manager, and her daughter Chrisel took care of them quickly and efficiently. Charmaine arranged two excellent excursions for us, snorkeling and birdwatching in the rainforest, at great rates. Charmaine is also a fantastic cook. She provided us with dinner when we arrived, and her Creole fish was the best we tasted on the island. Charmaine and Chrisel are both really good people, and our chats with them were a morning highlight. For various reasons, we ended up getting more lifts from our driver Benton and his wife Obie than we'd anticipated. The Anse Chastanet Road is. to put it mildly, challenging. If you don't rent a vehicle and are not quite as nimble as you used to be, you'll be relying on your drivers a lot. If that's the case, bring more cash with you than you think you might need. We can't wait to get back to St. Lucia and the Treehouse again!
