This newer house with a walk-out basement has been recently redecorated and has a rear deck and yard facing a wooded area. All amenities including Wifi included. Get the best of both worlds with a private, wooded backyard and be within walking distance of the beach and downtown! Note: We can only accommodate WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY June 15 to Labor Day. Sorry no pets.

This Wifi equipped cozy and comfortable home boasts a convenient floor plan which can accommodate either individual families or multiple families. With a total of 2100 square feet, the main floor includes the following: eat-in kitchen, master bedroom (queen bed), master bathroom (shower), bedroom 2 (queen bed), bedroom 3 (two sets of bunkbeds), bathroom 2 (tub and shower), living room (TV w/VCR/DVD and cable), deck overlooking backyard. Downstairs 1 bedroom (queen bed) with a sleeper sofa for extra visitors in the recreation room.

The lower level includes: family Rec room (fieldstone gas fireplace, Smart TV, foosball table, queen size sleeper sofa and patio doors), bedroom 4 (queen bed), bathroom 3 (shower), and laundry room (washer and dryer). The home also includes use of an attached garage with EV level 2 charger.

In the backyard you can enjoy the trees and the privacy. The upper level includes an elevated deck with a barbecue grill while the lower level includes a patio.
Amenities: We offer all of the amenities of home. The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher) and well as small appliances (blender, coffee maker, toaster). It is also stocked with silverware, everyday china, cookware and utensils.

We also stock everything from paper products to dish soap. The bathrooms are stocked with towels as well as paper products and soap. We do ask that you provide your own beach towels, although some are available. The bedrooms are comfortably furnished including bed linens.
General amenities include: WIFI Internet access, fire pit, air conditioning, laundry, TV (Smart TV, streaming channels only!), VCR/DVD players, local telephone service, board games, books to borrow, foosball table, children's toys, gas fireplace, gas barbecue grill, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor shower, stereo, and anything else we pick up along the way that looks handy.
Activities: While definitely and beach/boat town, South Haven is a four season vacation destination with activities including agriculture (strawberry & blueberry picking, etc.), antiquing, art, auto racing, biking, boating & cruises, dining, fall color tours, festivals, fishing, go-carts, golf, hiking, museums, paint-ball, parks, wineries, and winter activities such as skiing (downhill or cross-country, skating and snowmobiling.
Area: South Haven is centrally located to many major cities which makes traveling easy. It is 2 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from Detroit, 1 hour from South Bend, and 1 hour from Grand Rapids.

Summerwood Cottage is located on the North side just off of North Shore Drive which has several beach access points. We are conveniently located just minutes from gorgeous and clean beaches, unique shops, and wonderful restaurants.
