Champagne Cottage is located in a quiet, beach community with access to Lake Michigan. Tranquil, wooded area is perfect for putting away worries and leaving the busy lives behind even for few days.
Two bedrooms, living room, newly remodeled kitchen with butcher's block countertops, cozy front porch and a spacious deck as well as a large bonfire area provides relaxing space to unwind, uncork and having good time with family and friends.

Guests enjoy morning coffee or just hanging out on the screened front porch or kitchen nook, watching nature, playing games.
Backyard is also a great hangout space, with sparkling lights above, cook meals on charcoal grill, s'mores on bonfire or simply relax in a hammock with a cool summer breeze.

Cottage is located in the Glenn Shores comunity, within drivable distance from stores and restaurants in South Haven, Fennville and Saugautuck/Douglas areas. Little town of Glenn offers convenience store with amazing sandwiches and pizza and a local restaurant with award winning pancakes. Glenn is known as a Pancake Town, so you have to make sure you check them out.

There are some things, that as a traveler that vacations several times a year, should be listed in the ad. First of all, the shower is VERY SMALL. Anyone over 225lbs would not be comfortable showering in there at all. My 12 year old child who is just over 100lbs felt very claustrophobic. Additionally, it should be well advertised that the beach access is NOT easy or walkable. Access is 3/4 of a mile away and there are only 3 parking spaces available for the entire community. Also, there were no instructions to the beach left at the home so after searching for 2 days of how to access the beach I had to contact the owner and was sent instructions and a map. That could have easily been left so we could have enjoyed 2 more days at the beach. This beach situation was incredibly disappointing for my entire family. The refrigerator is small and freezes food so be careful what you put in it. A couple other things as a traveler that I would suggest..... You are advertising you cottage as a beach vacation. Supplying beach towels would be great. Most people don't travel with towels, especially when you advertise that you supply towels. Also, there was no shower soap. Luckily I've run into this in the past so I always bring a bar of my own, but it is disappointing when we are not accommodated with everthing that would normally be found in a hotel room As for the kitchen....The dishes were dusty inside. You can eliminate this by turning them upside down. I had to rin

Perfect Michigan Cottage
The cottage is small but had all the necessities. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of bathroom towels for our 5 day stay. Kim was super responsive when messaged. The neighbors are close, but the houses are still staggered and spaced enough to not feel suffocated. It was awesome that the cottage was pet friendly and the neighborhood appeared to be as well.Private beach access was awesome! It was mostly rock instead of sand, but was still perfect for watching sunsets.Town is reasonable distance, but beware cell service is spotty so prior to getting to cottage and logging into WiFi have info available to get in! Cottage was dated but clean.

Perfect cottage in a serene location.

Good just needs to be more accurate
I went to south haven for a girls trip and it was an overall good experience. Somethings that disappointed us were the dishes not being clean and food being crusted on spatulas and other cooking utensils. I felt the rest of the house was clean and well kept. On a positive note the host Kim was awesome and super responsive to every message I sent her. We liked the neighborhood and we liked cute cottage feel of the place. The last thing that we noticed was the accuracy of the listing. The cottage didn’t have a tv or a blender even though the listing said it did. This wasn’t the end of the world for us but felt it was worth mentioning.

Convenient location and great neighborhood
Cute cottage. Great neighborhood. We enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit, walking our dog through the neighborhood, and convenient location to Saugatuck (great shopping and restaurants )
