Great location, a few service improvements
The hotel is in a great location with direct beach access. The room was spacious and clean, although could use with a revamp as some parts felt a little dated. The heated pool with the bar was lovely. Drinks at the bar were good and evening entertainment was fun.
When we checked in we were asked for a card for payment, however the original card used to secure the room through hotels.com was actually charged which was confusing. We had requested a King room but were given a double queen and told no Kings were available, however online it looked like the hotel was still selling King rooms which was confusing. Breakfast was not explained to us and we were not given vouchers for it; we tried Breakfast on the 2nd day and it was almost an hour between getting down there and ordering our food. A buffet would be better. I asked 3 times for a hot drink but never received one. After finishing breakfast I asked if we needed to provide our room number as it was included in our rate, however I received the check and was told we ordered the wrong menu items so had to pay - this had not been explained to us, but after speaking with the front desk they took care of it. The food was OK at best.
