Beautiful timber-framed house with over 3900+ square feet, plus another 1100+ square feet in the guest house. Includes both buildings and 550 feet of private lake shore. It is located at the end of a 3 mile long gravel road. Quiet. Secluded. Private. Come enjoy a beautiful escape on the south shore of Lake Superior. NOW with high speed wifi! Literally 100 times faster than our old DSL (starlink- 253 mbps on July 3, 2024)!

This home was built entirely from locally harvested white pine in 2002. Approximately 100 feet to Lake Superior's sandy shoreline. 10 Queen beds with three custom made bunk beds will be enough to fit your whole family and then some.

Sauna, swimming, camp fires, and star gazing... all to your heartsā€™ content at this secluded retreat.

Nice big house for extended family gathering
Great place for extended family gathering! Basement had pool table and ping pong which was fun got multi generational games. Massive leather couch was great for sitting in front of the fireplace! 2 of bedrooms upstairs had a wall that didnā€™t go to the top of the ceiling so not private.

Dad's 80th
The property was PERFECT in accommodating our large family - it was quite a feat getting all of us together to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday! Both houses were clean and extremely comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for were provided, from extra towels to lots of ping pong balls and paddles. The hearth in the main house was gorgeous and cozy. The location of the property was great for us. Secluded and quiet, with a short walk down to the lake. We were gifted perfect fall weather for our stay. We were also fortunate enough to get a harvest moon while there. It was breathtaking over the lake. I highly recommend this property, especially for those with large groups!

Lake Superior south shore adventure
Our first impression as we drove up to the property was "WOW." The host provided everything...and more... that we needed to have a wonderful stay. He made himself easily available in case we needed anything. The home and grounds are beautiful and private. The great room was especially impressive. And we loved having 500+ feet of private Lake Superior sandy lakeshore. The general consensus of our group was to try to rent the property again next year! Thank you Kristopher!! One suggestion for improvement. The path to the beach from the house was pretty challenging for our oldest group member. It would be very helpful if you could improve that. The private beach was wonderful! Thanks Kristopher!

Great property for a vacation with friends.
The house and property worked out great for us and four other couples. The view of the lake along with the cool breeze coming off of it was wonderful especially due to the hotter than normal weather we experienced. There was plenty of room in the backyard for outdoor activities. The house itself was perfect in terms of space and comfort for all of us. Would stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Great place for a family get together
We had a large group with all ages and this house worked perfect for everyone. The beach was swimmable and walkable which was a nice surprise- beautiful at sunset. We played wiffleball in the large yard and had outdoor coverage during the rain by using the open garage. The bathrooms are a little outdated but would highly recommend this property!

This property worked very well for our family gathering with 17 people. Plenty of space to hang out and catch up. More actual sleeping spaces than listed due to sleeper sofas and futon beds. Kitchen was a little small but functional. Overall we were very happy with the property.

Superior Family Gathering
Experienced "Up North" with our blended family of five adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren. Lots to do inside and out. Lake Superior was closer to the house than I expected so all the better! There's a swimming beach down the road where we saw some spectacular sunsets.

This property was perfect for our large family gathering. Kris was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. The kitchen was well stocked with tools to cook for a group. Beds were comfortable and the breeze off the lake was plesant. We enjoyed the nearby fishing beach and Amnicon Falls State Park. The provided firewood was more than enough for our enjoyment. We will feel fortunate if we get to enjoy this propery again in the future.

An amazing roomy clean and well stocked rental for a large group. There was 18 ppl (5 families) and never once did we feel crowded. Beautiful home, yard, beach. We had a group of 8 and were all very comfortable - staying right on the lake allowed for beachfront sunrises and a polar plunge. We loved having the great room with a fireplace and even a sauna. The house has all of the required necessities you will need for a stay. It has kitchen ware, gaming room and a full bedding. The house was able to accommodate all of our groups needs. It has a scenic trail that leads to the lake which is a good spot for relaxing and taking pictures. The owners are very helpful and responsive to all of our questions.
