Panoramic Private Beachfront Home with Breathtaking Views

You have found the vacation property whose name says it all GEMSTONES, located in Southampton, Bermuda. Gemstones is a luxury villa on its very own private beach. Upon arrival as you approach the property all you can say is 'WOW!'. This three bedroom accommodation has an open plan design with a large balcony off the dining room where you can enjoy panoramic views of the south shore. With another balcony off the master bedroom, fresh coffee and the sunrise will start your day off just right. In the master bedroom a king sized bed, Jacuzzi, and the walk through closet will make you feel right at home. The loft serves as a forth bedding area with a king size futon that can be converted to two single beds. This property has all the comforts you will desire. Wifi available. A fully appointed Viking kitchen and a Sub Zero refridgerator, full laundry and a large back patio area for those summer bar-b-ques. Enjoy your favorite beverage as you nestle by the fireplace in the sunken living room. The breakfast nook is an additional area allowing you further relaxation. Perfect place to read a good book as you watch the waves wash in and roll out gently over the pink sand. Reverse air conditioners are located in selected areas throughout the house. This resort area has the finest restaurants and a major bus route for convenience at the top of “de hill” all within walking distance.

We no longer offer private dining services with Chef Greg since he has choosen Permaculture gardening and composting with his company Food Forest. The only farm of this kind in these islands.

Due to popular demand, our Deck House unit is also available under listing #914639. This fully independent apartment is a queen size studio affording additional accommodation for 2 guests only. Located at the lower western end of the property. This unit is a charming fully appointed studio complete with a queen bed full kitchen and modern bathroom.

Should you require more or addition accommodations, our daughter Tiara Wilson own and manages Crown Point Concierge- a highly sort off company in the luxury vacation rental business. Keep in mind there is no place like Gemstones. There I said it....now come and "feel the love". Hope to see you soon.

Best Birthday Ever
From start to finish our stay in Bermuda was amazing. Lorna is the best host ever and was readily available when we had any questions. The location was amazing and the beach was perfect. Easy to get transportation for any excursions. I wish I was waking up in Bermuda again for breakfast on the patio. We’ll be back for sure !

Lovely Gemstones
Gemstones was a gorgeous property! The house complete with the views is a rare find in rentals. The spaciousness of the rooms could easily handle large groups. Updated appliances were featured throughout the house making it comfortable for us all. Quick access to the beach as well as to the bus stop and to an excellent restaurant made our days easy. Outside deck and seating areas were enjoyed all throughout the day. Beach toys and equipment were at our fingertips if we wished. Information about the house as well as the surrounding area was presented thoroughly through the VRBO site and through books left at the house. The only drawback for us was with the TVs: 1. There was no instruction sheet letting us know how to make them work. Lorna and George were terrific hosts! Go to Gemstones! You won't be disappointed.

So good to be back!
This was our third time staying at beautiful Gemstones, and we absolutely love it!! We have a large family and there is more than enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably, as well as all the amenities a family needs (well stocked kitchen, laundry, beach toys, chairs, etc). Most of all, you can’t beat the location, I would’ve been more than happy to swim, snorkel, and build sandcastles on Cross Bay Beach every single day! And the view from the gorgeous house is spectacular!! Lorna and Greg are amazing hosts - so friendly and warm, and always quick to respond to any questions you may have. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it!! You will love it just as we do!!

Gemstones was the perfect spot for our family. 6 adults and 2 children. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals when we didn’t eat out. Snorkeling gear was great to have . It is a short walk to Church bay where you can snorkel (big beautiful fish swimming close to beach). The kids loved having the beach right there. We stayed in main house and had plenty of room for everyone.

**Amazing Vacation Home with Stunning Ocean Views and Excellent Amenities**
Our stay at Lorna's vacation home was nothing short of spectacular! The panoramic views of the beach and ocean were breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop for our entire trip. The house is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities that a family or large group could possibly need, from a snorkeling gear and floaties to comfortable bedrooms and entertainment options. One of the highlights of our stay was the accessibility. The nearby bus stops made it incredibly easy to explore the island without the hassle of driving. We were just a short ride away from several beautiful beaches and popular tourist spots, making our daily adventures convenient and enjoyable. The location couldn't be more perfect. Not only were we close to multiple stunning beaches, but there was also a fantastic restaurant just a short walk away. The food there was delicious, offering a variety of dishes that pleased everyone in our group. Lorna, the owner, was exceptionally kind and communicative throughout our stay. She made sure we had everything we needed and offered great recommendations for local attractions and tips on the island. Her hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. This home, with its amazing views, excellent location, and wonderful amenities, exceeded all our expectations. Perfect spot
Gemstones was the absolute perfect home for our family to vacation. The home was very comfortable and the location was great. The views were just breathtaking and the private beach was incredible. We brought snorkels and so glad we did as the snorkeling was great right at the beach. This is a rare case where the pictures do not properly capture the overall experience of the home, so it more than exceeded our expectations. Another added bonus was Lorna and her family. She was so kind and hospitable. My kids even got to play with her granddaughters…a treat for them. Thank you for everything, Lorna and family!

Magical! Practically perfect!
This is a stunning property steps from the hidden gem of Cross Bay Beach. The house itself is elegant and well-appointed. There is a cook’s kitchen, towels are fluffy and the beds are extremely comfortable. You can walk to the Reefs, Henry the Eighth, Gibbs Lighthouse, the Rail Trail and Horseshoe Beach. The bus stops at the top of the driveway and is accessible, friendly and easy to use. Or just stay on Cross Bay Beach or the balcony at Gemstones and watch the whales breaching out at sea and the breathtaking sunsets. This would be enough! Gemstones is owned and operated by Lorna and Greg Wilson, who practice the kind of gracious hospitality that you read about in old novels. A truly magical experience in this extraordinary place!

BEAUTIFUL spot & fabulous accommodations
My family and I made plans to head to Bermuda on vacation with very little previous knowledge about the island - thankfully we got lucky and picked this beautiful house and it came with the best views of our entire trip and wonderful support/ambassadorship from the hosts! We stayed for 5 nights and unfortunately, the weather prevented us from exploring some of the things at the top of our list - but - this place was so great, we really feel like our trip was lackluster without those experiences at all. When things came up, Lorna was there (omnipresent for support but we had our own space - ideal combo). When problems or questions we had arose - they were fixed so quickly we were able to move right along and keep enjoying our vacation seamlessly. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We already have told everyone since we've been back that if they ever go to Bermuda - THIS is THE place to stay!

Awesome Stay
We returned to Bermuda after a 30 yr hiatus. We first moved here with the US Navy in 1993 for a shortened tour. Our time here was magical then and we had alot of Family visit then. We decided to relive that time and had alot of the same family and more come to stay and enjoy this magical place with us. Gemstones was a wonderful place to explore from and Lorna and Greg were great hosts. We loved our time and we will be back! Bernie and Katie

A little piece of heaven in Bermuda...
Our family had a wonderful time at Gemstones. Lorna could not have been more helpful and responsive. The semi-private beach is so close and the water was spectacular. An added bonus was all of the beautiful fish our family found in the waters along the rocky areas. The location is a quick walk to Henry's for food, cocktails and beverages, The Reefs resort another option for food and cocktails, Horseshoe Bay (one of the best in the world) and the lighthouse. We took cabs (quite pricey-bring lots and lots of cash) to Hamilton, the Dockyard, St George (would have skipped that - shops have moved to Dockyard with the cruise ships) and various other sites. The home was better than pictured and had fabulous views from several balconies and windows. One things to note - downstairs bathroom can get a little slippery from shower steam. We would definitely return!

You will not be disappointed
Everything about this place was amazing. The host, Lorna, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful to us. She truly made us feel like we were right at home, and the rest of her family that we met were beyond friendly as well. The photos are 100% accurate, the beach is as stunning and private as you would expect. I would highly recommend using the taxi service that she suggests in the welcome package, as they were timely, friendly, and professional. Sylvia also gave us lots of historical information as we drove to our destinations around the island. I can't say enough good things about this place, I would just suggest booking a trip here. As the title states, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful and Amazing stay at Gemstones. Perfect spot for a family or in this case a group of friends on a golf trip. Private beach with an incredible, almost surreal, view of beautiful water, beach and rocks right out the front door...a privilege to stay here. House was in impeccable shape upon arrival. Lorna is accommodating available for anything that is needed. Sylvia and team provided all transportation to and from airport, golf courses, restaurants, etc. that was needed, spot on and with a lifetime of knowledge and grace that was again was a privilege to be able to experience... We had a wonderful stay at gemstones. It is an excellent family accommodation with walking distance to private beach. Does not get better than that!!! Mornings watching for whales off the deck! Wonderful week at Gemstones!
We spent a wonderful week in Southampton Parish at Gemstones. Lorna was an excellent host and took care of anything we needed, including providing the name of an excellent driver who took us around the island, to our activities, and to our dinner reservations each night. The property itself is located on the southern part of the island near a casual restaurant and within walking distance to a lighthouse that has a great view of the island. The details of the house were just fantastic—from the mosaic tilework on the steps, to the beautiful artwork on the walls, to the houseplants that welcome you to each room. The beach is amazing and very private with stunning views, especially during every sunrise and sunset. The chickens and vegetable garden just added to the natural beauty of this lovely home. Thank you!

Wonderful Spot On The Cliff
We stayed here as a family and it was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving weekend. It is nestled up against a gorgeous secluded beach, with stunning views from the windows. It feels like staying in a family home, and is well appointed with all your needs. It's in a central location of the island that feels more residential but is still walking distance to a couple restaurants.

Absolutely Perfect!
How to describe Gemstones? The location is unbelievable, perched above a gorgeous private beach (with easy access from the house) in a quiet corner of the island. It's a two-minute walk from Henry VIII, a Bermuda institution where you can enjoy a rum swizzle on the patio looking out to sea, a casual sushi lunch, or a cozy dinner of local wahoo - or, in our case, all three over the course of our stay. The lighthouse is also an easy walk. If you're looking to go farther afield there's a bus stop directly across the street from the top of the driveway and the #7 will take you into Hamilton, out to the Dockyards, or just up the road to the grocery store. The house itself is amazing, with views from almost every room and plenty of outdoor space in which to gather. The indoor space is great too - huge eat-in kitchen, large dining room, comfortable living room, four lovely bedrooms. All is well-appointed and charmingly decorated. But the best part is definitely Lorna, who is an absolutely delightful host. Laid back, kind, accommodating, and deeply knowledgeable about the island, she is friendly and warm without being intrusive. She and her family live on the property, and their care for it shows. I very much hope to return, and I highly recommend Gemstones to everyone!

Gemstones is an unbelievable property in a great location. It is exactly as pictured, clean and the beach is the best we found in Bermuda. Lorna and her son were very friendly and very helpful. They did everything possible to make sure we had a great vacation. I can’t say enough about how great this property is. My family had such a great time and spent many happy hours on the Beach and doing all the tourist things on this beautiful island. We have done some traveling and my family felt this was our best vacation. So relaxing for all of us. Coffee on the balcony in the morning overlooking the ocean was unbelievable. The views from gemstones can’t be matched. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Bermuda. We hope to visit gemstones again

This is our second time staying at Gemstones and its definitely not the last. I have been to Bermuda many times since I was 7 years old and I have fallen in love with Cross Bay. Gemstones is such a lovely and comfortable home. Greg and Lorna are the best hosts and make everything easy. They are so accessible for any question you may have and direct you to the best people on the island (ex: charters, restaurants etc.) My only complaint is that you have to book so far in advance since it is such a popular rental for obvious reasons. Thank you once again for an amazing trip. I did not want to leave. :)
