Good value for the money
Stayed 4 nights. Requested a room with a shower chair, which they provided. We have stayed in that room before, but the shower chair looked new, which was nice. When we got to the hotel, the room was not ready, we left and came back, but the room was still not ready. They offered us a different room, but stated that we would probably want the room with the shower chair, which we did. So we hung around in the car and came back to the room later (they gave us a key anyway, although it wasn’t ready) and a little later the room was ready. It wasn’t a big deal, but maybe they should offer us something for the room not being ready on time. Had I asked for a late check out they probably would have agreed. The hotel staff is very nice here. I think they try to make guests happy during their stay.
The heater worked, and you can run the fan on high or low constantly even if the heater or air is not running, which I like, especially at a hotel. When the heater did come on though, it kind of made a rattling sound, which didn’t bother me too bad, but it got on my girlfriend’s nerves.
We did not try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to that. Next time I might try it.
The stay was nice, comfortable, and mostly quiet. They have construction type workers who stay there, and I heard them in the morning, but it wasn’t too bad.
I often go the Indian restaurant here, and I have like it there. The food and service are good. This time though they stepped it up; it was really good. Will be back :)
