cob webs on ceiling, carpet not exactly been hovered, for price we paid value was bottom of the list. there was a fight in next street & whoever came worse off came to this pub, bled over outside chair & on floor, when we left 2 days later blood still not cleaned off

a crap place to stay.
room not ready, TV not working, room not serviced???? not at all as described. Water in room NOT. the only thing going for the place was the food was ok. never again. feel robbed.

We arrived and eventually received by a young man out of the kitchen, he was very friendly but not able to help. Eventually the lady manager arrived no greeting just asked the name and in her words "show them to room 1" we were made to feel a burden, not a good start in my opinion. The room was clean and could have been amazing but the curtains were hanging off the wall, the TV did not work. She was asked about the TV and the reply was " we had a bad storm last week so noTV's are working ?. This is supposed to be a gastro pub but the food was poor. The entrance to accomodation is through a steel fire escape that was cluttered with rubbish it is not suitable for anybody who has difficulties in this way. The lady manager spent all her time sat at a table on a laptop and obviously has no idea how to run an establishment of this type, I will not return and not recommend.

I had dinner and breakfast, both were cooked perfectly, I especially enjoyed the evening meal and would happily go there just to eat if i was in the area. The room was attractive but the TV had no signal and I couldn't get on to the wifi. I don't normally watch TV in hotels but as I was staying on my own I was hoping to use it on this occasion, so a bit disappointing. Also my hairdryer didn't work but this was easily and quickly resolved
