Lake House
Beautiful property with easy access to the lake. The three of us were comfortable with the home. The house is in a hilly neighborhood which would not be ideal for older adult walkers, but was fine for us. There was an unusually strong "garlicky" smell in the house that could use some scented or odor neutralizing candles. I don't know if it was from cooking, the floral shop or a natural insect repellant. Just worthy of note. A dehumidifier was in one of the bedrooms. Window air conditioners are in each bedroom for comfort. It was very nice not to have to bring bed linens and towels. Thank you for the use of your lake house.

We loved everything with the location, beautiful property and lake access. House was clean and more than spacious for five adults. The only disappointment was both queen beds were to soft and the twin beds were hard as bricks. However, we would absolutely rent again!!

Great location on the lake
We had 5 adults and we loved the lake even though my husband didn't catch any fish. He tried all kinds of bait but they just weren't biting. The twin bed mattresses were perfect and the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. I'm glad that I brought my own pillow and some extra towels. Our favorite area was the backyard. The ducks visit several times a day.

Just duckie!
What a lovely property! We thoroughly enjoyed our week and spent 90% of our time relaxing under the trees watching the lake. The family of ducks who would visit was very entertaining. If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the place.

Relaxing place to stay.
Our stay at the lake property was very relaxing. The lake was pristine and nice to swim and walk in. Everything about the yard was great, from the seating, to the soft, squishy grass and landscaping. Plus the outdoor floating toys, row boat and paddle boat made it so fun! We just loved it! The home had all we needed to be comfortable and the space was just perfect. It was especially nice to have a laundry on site and also a gas grill! We would definitely stay here again. Also a plus was having a friendly host who was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time at the lake home!

Amazing!
This was our third year and our best year so far! Our family lives in different states so this is a perfect meeting place. Fishing was great! Our relaxed swim in the lake led us to meet their very sweet neighbor (wish I could remember her name). Picked up some beautiful gifts at Saint Joseph’s Abbey Gift store. Christine & Pete are such lovely people and so easy to reach if you need them. All in all, another wonderful time at the lake. The only downside is that we should have booked a longer stay. Can’t wait to go back again next year! Thanks Christine & Pete! 🤗💕

Sweet Spot on the Lake
Christine was very welcoming and accommodating with our family and group as we celebrated a college graduation, and two birthdays on her beautiful property. Each room has temperature controls, including the primary bath, and our family felt relaxed throughout our stay.

Five years of memories made
We have been coming here for 5 years. It is our "lakehouse" as our granddaughter puts it. Small town with good eateries. We also like to drive to West Boyleston to get yummy baked goods and great Italian food! We also love to go bowling in Spencer at the local bowling alley. Just so perfect for our family. Christine and Pete, the owners are the very best!

Wish we had spent a little more time on the property (we did a road trip daily to see the leaves change). This is such a great location, amazing view, and the rental had a lot of space for parking and for us to have 5 people stay comfortably. Highly recommended!

Just sit back and enjoy the tranquility.
If you want to feel like you are tucked away from the world in the most serene setting, this little home fits the bill. It’s a clean, sweet cottage surrounded by tall trees, lush landscaping and the most peaceful view of the lake from the backyard. There are neighbors, but we never saw or heard them. The owner was responsive and made sure we knew what to expect. We would go back in a heartbeat. ❤️

Great family vacation
We had such a wonderful family vacation. The house was the cleanest I’ve ever experienced from a rental and the beds were comfortable. The backyard was simply amazing with so much room for the kids to play, the beach was perfect for my two year old son and the kids loved walking over to the swings in the park next door. The house was easy to modify for my mobility challenged parents except we did need to bring a higher chair for my dad because the chairs in the living room were too low for him to stand from on his own but it was an easy fix as I had brought a directors style camping chair and he was otherwise quite comfortable with the accommodations. Christine was warm and welcoming and gave us plenty of privacy but was also quick with a response if we needed anything. If my parents are up for it we will definitely try to stay again!

The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family. My mother, who uses a walker, was able to get around the house without any issues. The lake and outside are was very relaxing and comfortable.

Fabulous lake location!
Wonderful and very comfortable home on a pristine lake. There’s a small public park with a beachfront right next door (a one-minute walk from the backyard thru a gate and you’re there)! The park has a perfect swimming area for younger kiddos and there are lifeguards on duty. The backyard is lakefront and provides a beautiful backdrop for sipping your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The paddle boat was a blast (we are not good “drivers!), but we had loads of fun. The backyard has comfy chairs and a table/chairs set so it’s easy to eat alfresco in good weather. There’s also an enclosed porch with views of the lake (which also has a table/chairs set - so another option for dining!). There’s plenty of fun and unique shops to visit within a 30-min drive, and a great museum (Ecotarium) that’s best suited for young up to preteen kids. We loved the well-stocked game cabinet (cards, table games), which kept us well-entertained in the evenings. Our host Christine was super responsive to any and all questions we had both before and during our stay. She mentions that the place is called “grandma’s house”… which perfectly describes the vibe - comfy, cozy and with all the amenities of your favorite Grandma’s house.

Wonderful Lake Retreat
We had such a wonderful time at this house. Christine is a perfect host and had good communication throughout. Check-in was a breeze. The layout of the house is fabulous: spacious and clean with great amenities. The views from the backyard over the lake are spectacular. Swimming, boating, and relaxation in a huge backyard that was all to ourselves. We also made use of the games and puzzles. We hope to come back before too long.
