I booked an airconditioned room but was given a room at check in which was really hot and I did not feel any aircon. Reception said they will get someone to check on the aircon and only when I asked again was told the room actually has no aircon as not all rooms in that category has aircon. My booking clearly states there is aircon and my specific request was a room with fully controllable aircon on high floor. Thereafter, I was given a low floor room overlooking the car park with aircon. Anyway, I was happy with the aircon as the heat was unbearable. Thought this could have been handled better especially at that price point. This hotel is not really ideal for those who don’t drive as the bus to the train station is only once every hour and there are no shops except at the train station. On the positive side, Jerome, who drove us from the train station, was friendly and professional.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The restaurant staff are so nice. The view from the balcony is amazing and with it being close to the train station, we were able to get to where we needed very quick.

The staff was amazing, very friendly, clean environment. They were always available for any questions we had. Very very helpful. I love the location. Only thing, I wish breakfast was included as it seemed very basic. The lunches and dinners were super delicious.

Amazing view of the Thun lake and Spiez castle from the property. Very unique place to stay, offering a perfect Swiss experience. Close to all tourist destinations like Grindelwald, Istelwald, Jungfrau. Well connected by bus and train. The staff provided a bus pass so we didn't have to walk to the train station. Good weather in May made our stay in the comfy room with a scenic view memorable. Make sure you check and book the room as they have multiple categories of lake view rooms. The best view is from higher floors. Ours had a view partially blocked by a house.

The hotel is beautiful over look the lake with mountains surrounding it. We stay at the room wit a balcony over looking the beautiful view of the lake as well as the Spiez castle. The hotel also offer a free shuttle form and to the airport which was very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing i was uncomfortable with is the very thin pillow which what i’ve always have a problem with. The bed was very soft but for someone like me with a back problem this was painful. Asides of that everything else was wonderful. Though there’s not much to see, but i would still recommend it. As it will be a resfehing and calming holiday.

Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.
Loved this hotel and it was such a shame that we were here for just one night. I'd return to Spiez just to stay at this hotel again. Beautiful property located in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. We had to catch an early train and they packed breakfast for us to eat on the train. The dry sauna overlooking the lake was so dreamy. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.
