We had a great time here using it for lodging during our wedding. The deck was beautiful and overlooked little spirit lake. We were even able to catch a couple fish from the deck! Decorations were so cute and made the property feel so modern. It definitely gave tiny-home vibes (in the best way)! The door lock and key were secure. The A/C worked well and we had all the amenities we needed. The only thing I would suggest be added would be a lamp in the bedroom for softer lighting than the fluorescent overheads.

Perfect Little Place for Us

Nice little cabin
Cabin is exactly as advertised and was perfect for my weekend fishing retreat. Great location, nice views, perfect for an individual, couple, or small family getaway! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to visit the area.

Labor Day Get-away
We had a get-away weekend and truly enjoyed this cute cabin! The property is in a great location, well decorated and clean. All the kitchen and bathroom items you need are stocked. We were between lakes on an isthmus, so had sunrise and sunset viewing. It was a hot weekend, but the lake breezes kept things beautiful, and the air conditioning had no problem with 95+ temps. We would definitely love to come back sometime soon.

Cozy little hideaway
Such a sweet little house. On a strip between TWO lakes! We saw big bass jumping out back, and a little chipmunk snuck up on the porch to say hi. The home was clean, well-stocked, and convenient. Thanks much for a lovely Okoboji visit!

Great stay on Little Spirit Lake
This was an awesome find…super clean, well-stocked, and responsive host. We loved having views of both lakes and easy access for paddle boarding. The pathway into the lake was a little challenging but manageable. The cabin was clean, had lots of towels and other little extras that made it a comfortable stay. We missed that no WiFi or TV was included (couldn’t get digital local TV either); it nice to have a quiet vacation, but good to know this ahead. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.

Quiet reprieve
My husband and I tried this as a short stay prior to our annual week long vaca with whole family at Okoboji. It was exactly as advertised. Quiet, peaceful, yet easily accessed and about 15 min drive to Arnolds Park. Yes, it is right on the highway, but its not a busy highway and it wasnt loud. We walked to north and checked out the beach- great! No hairdryer or regular coffee maker but we survived. Definitely recommend this place.

Quiet Comfort
Hubby ans I stayed in July for an impromptu getaway. It was cute, clean, and comfortable for rhe two of us. Perfectly situated near enough to the actiom of Okoboji but tucked away on Spirit Lake for quiet, relaxing evenings. Steps to North Beach to catch the sunrise and a great back deck to nature watch and read a book. The cabin was stocked with everything needed from the kitchenette to the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stayed, the worse part was leaving. The host clearly communicated all important information and welcomed us with a sweet treat. Definitely hoping to visit again!

Another great stay
This was the second time staying at this property. The host is very good about communicating with guests. The sunset over Little Spirit Lake is wonderful from the deck. The weather was great so we were able to take advantage of the deck and the nearby beach. The cabin is close enough so we could run in quickly and pick up items, but far enough to avoid crowds.

Over all it was a fun trip. Wish we would have had WIFi or a working TV but we got by. When we got there the lawn was not mowed or trimmed but they took care of it that same day. Nice place to go for quite and relaxing.

Pre summer vacation
Second time to stay here. It’s a wonderful location away from the busy summertime tourists. The cabin is perfect for the two of us. Love the views - front and back. Communication was super smooth!

Beautiful Lake Views
Such amazing lake views from every window. Especially lovely and relaxing views from the back deck that sits right on the water. Enjoy sunrise over Big Spirit Lake in the mornings and tranquil sunsets over Little Spirit Lake in the evenings. Lots of wonderful memories made of long walks, kayaking, star gazing and enjoying nature and the nearby beach. The cabin is very clean and beautifully remodeled. The Owner is very kind and easy to communicate with. This lake cabin is very special. The lake road is close by but there is not a lot of traffic although cars can travel by quickly. The roadside shoulders are paved for walking and biking with nearby quiet roads for longer, more peaceful walks. This is a fantastic lake cabin experience with some of the best lake views of anywhere in the Okoboji area. It's a treasure!!

Life between two lakes
We've stayed in many properties over decades of visiting the Lakes and this was one of our favorites! We've never stayed on Little/Big Spirit before and am so glad to have learned that it's a lovely and calm location. This cabin's back deck overlooks Little Spirit and from any view out this side you feel like you are right on top of the water. So amazing to wake up in the morning and see the lake first thing. This is yards away from one of our kids' favorite fishing spots from long ago. Nothing takes that long to get to around here so it feels as close as any other to Spirit Lake and the Park. The cabin is so adorably decorated, updated, and has that nostalgic feel while still feeling fresh. The touches like beach cruiser bikes and a kayak being available were so nice, even though we didn't have time to use them this trip. We found the bed very comfortable with a nice soft topper and the cabin temperature was perfect. There's no dock but you're close to places you could put a boat in if you wished and you could literally fish from the deck. We will definitely be back!

Cute Decor
I loved the cute decor of this place. Very cozy and calming. Away from all the crowds of the Okoboji area, but close enough to get there in minutes. The traffic in front of the property moves pretty fast, so I would caution people with young kids to be aware of that. I think it’s a 45 or 50mph zone. That being said, it’s not a really busy street. We had a nice, relaxing time here!

This cabin was furnished beautifully! Great quick getaway for our family of four. Had everything we needed and really appreciated the extras (canoe/bikes/kayak). Only thing that could’ve been better is if we would’ve caught fish, LOL:-) the only constructive feedback I have would be to add a rubber spatula to the utensil caddy, and possibly a fire pit for the evenings (but understand it’s a tight space) …

What a great getaway - everything we needed in beautifully decorated surroundings! We had no reason to contact the host whi!e there as everything worked & great instructions for checkout. Heavy rains for a day of our long weekend but we didn't mind as we ate, played games, napped & read . . . .everything was oerfect ! Thank you!
