This old Florida neighborhood, on its own island, is a rarity in the sunshine state - surrounded by water and nature - it truly feels like it is away from it all (but a short drive to Orlando and Tampa and surrounding towns)! While most of Florida is being taken over by concrete and highways, this gem has been untouched!
Our sweet coastal cottage is located right next to sunset beach, a non public beach. Often you’ll have the beach to yourself or possibly share a seat on the sunset bench with one of the locals and hear their story as you watch the sun go down. The sunsets are AMAZING!
The drive in takes you back in time! A small two lane road surrounded by palm trees, water and marshes inspires a window down, tunes blasting kind of moment.
Our two bedroom, two bathroom cottage was designed to encourage rest and relaxation! A cozy L-shape couch faces the big bay window and gulf facing gallery. If you need a break from bird watching, kayaking the gulf ( we have two kayaks for you too), or beach combing, we have a smart TV and high-speed internet available for working remotely or catching up on some Netflix.
The kitchen is fully stocked with your cooking equipment and utensils so you never have to leave and miss a sunset (yes you can even enjoy the sunset from the kitchen/dining room). We even added a high top table against the bay window so you can sit in the AC while feeling a part of nature.
Ample outdoor space to get your nature fix! A big gallery off of the living room, lower level complete with a picnic bench, full size propane grill, Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table and an extra lot (bring your lawn games!) and of course the sandy beach steps from the property. Need to get some exercise in while you are here while enjoying the natural beauty - we have you covered! We have supplied two kayaks that can be launched from our beach or around the corner at the neighborhood boat launch.
Please note that this is Pine Island, Florida 34607 located northwest of the Tampa and Orlando Airports, the Island affords you lots of space, privacy and proximity to Disney World, Tampa and many other beautiful Florida cities and attractions. More importantly, you would also have the entire property to yourself for peace of mind and separation from the people and crowded hotels, restaurants and beaches that you just can’t avoid in the larger Florida tourist cities and areas.
