Very disappointed in this property. Expected so much more from a Johnny Morris Lodge. Limited TV options, bathroom fan not working, bed desk lamps not working, no microwave, dirty carpets, incredibly low water pressure, bed sheets placed over comforter of beds (rather than under)? No guest business room or computer, very dark and smelly hallways and way over priced. Much better hotels in area that are cleaner and at a better price. I would not recommend stating here. Live and learn.

We stayed one night at the Anglerā€™s Lodge. Overall it was good. The beds were a little too soft for our comfort but still manageable. I did find someone elseā€™s hair on the shower wall which was a little disappointing but Iā€™ve stayed in worse. Again, overall the stay wasnā€™t bad and weā€™ll probably stay there again if the price is right. I think my sonā€™s favorite part was finding a bag of gummy worms on the beds. He thought that was so awesome! I liked that it was right across the street from Bass Pro, which was where we were going. It was in a good location. I would recommend this hotel to someone that isnā€™t wanting a dump to stay in but is also not wanting to break the bank either.

The front desk staff was great! When we checked in he told us about the discount at a restaurant and helped us get discounted tickets for the Wildlife Museum and Aquarium. All of the Basspro attractions are across the street.
