The Kennedy House did not disappoint. It was exactly like the pictures. The room and all common areas were immaculate. The location was awesome! We were able to walk to everything. We will be back!

LOVE KENNEDY HOUSE! St Andrews-by-the-Sea is such a gem of a spot that we had stumbled upon when visiting the East Coast a few years back. Always a pleasure to return! Decided to book Kennedy House via Expedia, hoping we had made a good choice… and WOW did we ever!!! LOVED our stay! Dominic the owner greeted us warmly at checkin and we immediately felt at home! We had booked a King room #100 on 1st floor with balcony access! Loved sitting out there, comfortable seating, perfect spot to relax! Room was very clean, really comfortable bed with nice bedding. AC worked perfectly! Bathroom is not big, typical of a home built in 1881, but all was functional. There was even a little kitchenette! Perfect location downtown on Water St, close to many restaurants and shops! Downstairs on main floor of Kennedy House is a pub-like restaurant/bar that is open from 12 noon until 10ish. They have outdoor seating on the veranda in the front of the house. Truly enjoyed that!!! Loved Julie our server/bar tender, great old-fashioned night caps! The next day we had lunch there, Tara was our server, loved the lunch special: lobster roll with fries, served with either the daily soup (tomato basil) or blueberry pie! ALL was delicious! In the evening, we returned and we were served by Margot, the owner Dominic’s daughter and we even got to meet Fred,his son! Truly beautiful people! We shared the baked haddock served with mashed potatoes and salad! We also had the grilled corn on the cob, all yumm

Quaint Inn in a very quaint town, in perfect location. The staff was excellent, but no breakfast offered on location. We checked in with another couple (having booked and paid for 2 queen deluxe rooms last March). Upon arrival 1 room had no air conditioning which was a necessity. We were hit up to pay another $59 to upgrade. The room was identical on a floor above with air conditioning. The room was not as clean as we would expect either. We feel we were misled and ripped off to pay extra for what should have been included, especially as we booked that far out and had booked 2 rooms at the same time.

The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The location is absolutely the best in St. Andrews, with easy access to anything one could want to do, and the restaurant is lovely and delicious.
