Apart from golf, the ancient town of St Andrews is steeped in history, having the oldest university in Scotland, and its large medieval cathedral dating back to the 12th century.
For others, the attraction is in the miles of unspoilt beaches, woodlands and peaceful countryside , where they can fish, hike, cycle or generally just explore, freely and uninterrupted.

Although attached to the main property, the cottage sits in its own private and spacious gardens. It is completely self-contained and comfortably furnished, with all the necessities required for a self-catering holiday.
Accommodation consists of 2 large double bedrooms – each with two single beds. Each room has built in wardrobes and plenty of storage space. If really required there are two further single beds in an upstairs loft conversion - via a Ramsey ladder for the more agile!
There is a large open lounge area with gas fireplace, opening out to the conservatory with its superb views. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. There is also a separate dining room, and an area has been set out as a possible workplace for those who cannot ‘leave their work at home’. Wifi is accessible. The large shower room is well-fitted with a modern suite comprising double shower cubicle, W.C., sink and bidet, and another W.C. is also available.
Guests have full access to the cottage and the surrounding gardens.
