Herons is our flagship holiday home, unique to every lodge on Retallack Resort. Take a dip in your private heated pool, relax in the sauna and bubble away in the hot tub. Set within a huge landscaped and astro lake fronted garden. Take the garden path down to the terrace with poolside sun loungers and monogrammed towels. The entertaining spaces at Herons are quite beautiful with spaces for all to enjoy. Firstly the cosy cinema room then the gorgeous dinning room to the to the huge living room. With under flooring heating, large TV’s and huge plasma sound fire place. Everything has been thought of here and my favourite part, the Green Egg BBQ!

Lap the pool and with views of the lake bubble away in your hot tub, relax in the sauna then stretch out on the loungers with monogramed striped towels. The resort offers so much you hardly need to leave! With watersports, countryside walks, health club, restaurant and golf. Venture to the beach - just minutes away enjoy Watergate Bay, Padstow, take a short trip across on the Padstow ferry to Rock or surf the famous beaches in Newquay.

When leaving the resort it is easiest by car - there is so much to explore on your doorstep - Padstow , Wadebridge, Newquay and many North Cornwall beaches.

For guests travelling by car, From Exeter , take the A30 towards Bodmin, exit at the Newquay junction with the A39 and travel towards Wadebridge. At the 3rd round about Winnards Perch round about, take your third exit and after 200 yards turn left into Retallack Resort. Drive along the driveway, do not turn off for reception (keys at the lodge). Travel along this road, and take your first right, this is signposted towards The Glades ( If you reach a round about you have just gone past the turning) Take this right turn and Herons is the first house you reach with large stone wall.

The key will be by the front door in a key box
