The George River offers some of the best trout, blackfish and bream fishing in Tasmania. Why not try your hand at fishing on our own private and secluded part of the river.
We are the perfect launching pad for exploring some of Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast heritage areas such as The Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula, the East Coast wineries, extensive hiking trails, waterfalls and the world-famous mountain biking tracks around St Helen’s and Derby. Please note that while you have completely private and exclusive access to the main 3-bedroom house, the property also has a self-contained one bedroom unit that is separated from the main house by a locked garage. This unit has a separate entrance, is separated from the main house and may be occupied from time-to-time (no children). The main driveway to the house is shared. Otherwise, the unit has its own separate and private facilities.
