Pelennor is a 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a converted Victorian town house. It is ideally located 5 minutes’ walk from beautiful Porthminster Beach and St Ives town with its delightful mix of shops, galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Why not wake up to lovely views across the rooftops to the Island and St Nicholas Chapel and the ocean beyond…then breakfast in the bright open plan bay window looking towards Carbis Bay.

We have re-furbished Pelennor to a very high standard, preserving the original corniced ceiling in the lounge/kitchen and added solid oak wood flooring. The two bathrooms comprise a contemporary ensuite and family bathroom with spacious corner shower and the added luxury of a free-standing bath. The bedrooms both have charming cream Victorian-style bedsteads and adjustable wall-mounted TVs. We're less than 10 minutes’ walk from bus and train stations; access by car could not be easier with space for two cars right outside. Ideal for two couples, a family of four, or a romantic break for 2. The property is not only within easy access of the beach and town but there is also the local tennis and golf clubs. St Ives Harbour Hotel offers full spa and leisure facilities.

Last minute getaway
We love Cornwall been going last 40yrs on and off, it been a couple of years since we stayed in St Ives and wanted a place near the beaches so we could walk to them and this place lived up to that and some, less than 10mins to both beaches and the town, ideal to spend the day at the beaches get back quickly for a change and head into town for dinner in the evenings. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Well located beautiful apartment
The apartment was just as described. The tasteful finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms are all very new, and the layout worked very well for us. The location provides easy access to the harbor, main shopping area, and Porthminster Beach. The on-site parking and easy access to Treylon Ave made coming and going a breeze.

A great place for two couples
We keep coming back, and have already booked for next year. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Bedrooms aren’t big, but beds are comfortable and there’s plenty of space in the apartment as a whole. Kitchen is well equipped, lounge comfortable and it’s great to have parking for two good size cars on the drive. That’s a rarity in St Ives! It’s a short walk down into town, though anyone less able might find the roads quite steep. There can’t be many places in town that doesn’t apply to. We were fine - two active couples in our 60s and 70s. We didn’t make use of the body boards but it’s nice they were available!

The perfect place to stay in St Ives
We were very impressed with this property especially a well appointed kitchen which was perfect for self catering. A very spacious property in a quiet location over looking some nice views of St Ives. With excellent parking facilities allowing us to take the short walk to the town and beach. Perfect for my first trip to St Ives
A perfect choice for my first trip to St Ives. The apartment is close to the train station, the town and the sea front. It is tastefully furnished and decorated, well equipped for a comfortable stay and spotlessly clean. I was sad to leave at the end of my stay but am sure to return.

A great place
A lovely, well maintained and equipped apartment, with good parking for two cars and a short walk down into St Ives. The beds are comfortable, the fittings good quality. It’s upstairs, and the walk to the town is steep, so this might not suit less able visitors, but for us it’s perfect and we have already booked our next stay.

Wonderful apartment and location
We found the apartment to be exactly as described. Clean, well equipped and spacious with lovely decor. An amazing 5* property
This was our 7th stay (we think!) at Pelennor. We have so many happy memories made whilst staying at this property. It is always immaculately clean, we’ve never found a property so spotless. It’s very well maintained and resources- we often cook in and are yet to find something we needed. Beds are comfy, showers powerful and location with parking is perfect. We hope to book again very soon.

Amazing stay in St Ives accommodation perfect
The apartment was situated in a perfect location for getting around the town and down to the harbour. Which is beautiful. Really clean, well equipped, lovely decor and a lovely view of the sea whilst sat having a cuppa on the sofa. Great that we had parking too. We really enjoyed our stay and was comfortable.
