Amazing location in walking distance of St Ives
5 / 5
Amazing location in walking distance of St Ives centre with beautiful views and gardens. Super helpful and friendly staff through out the hotel. The room was recently refurbished with fresh modern look, and was clean, quiet and easy to get a good night’s sleep. Dinner in restaurant was fabulous.
A few wonky things meant a reduced score on some of the criteria. In particular the heating was frustrating as it was centrally controlled and no air con, so difficult to get a sensible temperature in the room. The indoor pool is tatty around the edges and charging £1/towel is bizarre, given we’d already spent nearly £1k on a few nights stay.
These were minor niggles however, in an otherwise fantastic experience and wouldn’t put us off coming back. The hotel clearly has 4 star ambitions and I hope they continue to invest to rightfully achieve that status.
