Parking lot had garbage scattered about. Room had a 3/4 quarter full toilet paper roll and a roll that was maybe 1/4 full. TV Remote would not work but maintenance came and swapped it out. Construction was ongoing in the front and access to the front lobby was limited.

The property looked nothing like the pictures, the rooms were supposed to be king bed not too double. Great to see that they’re doing some updating to the exterior where the interior is lacking a level of professionalism or proper maintenance.

I can see that they try to keep this superficially clean but it is just so worn out that it must be an uphill battle. The restaurant is a joke. walked in looked around and walked out. same with the breakfast room. positively dismal. every surface of every part I saw was worn. what bothered me most was the cloud of fruit flies coming out of the batheroom drains and a healthy population of roaches. Another interesting fun feature was a hole on the drywall next to the towel rack that you could peep into the engineering space behind the wall. made me wonder if the staff were peeping the rooms. but then again, I never saw any housekeeping or engineering staff the entire time.I spent very little time in the room and frankly didnt have time to go anywhere else. So I lived with it. I wont cheap out next time and will stay down town or near the Tampa airport. but never here. In other parts of the counrty I've found Clarion to be very good......NOT THIS ONE

The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I was impressed with bedding and quality of bath towels. However I chose this location since others wrote about the friendliest of the front desk staff. On the weekend I did not find this. When I asked a couple of questions the woman seemed annoyed. The only smile I got was from the household staff. I’d recommend to eat breakfast at Perkins Pancake House a block away. Very disappointing.

The entire property was very dirty, There was homeless people hanging out all over the place. My wife and I and our two small boys felt very uncomfortable the entire stay. We will never stay there again.

The property was located right at a ramp to an entrance. But the place was run down. They had issues with making a key card when I checked in. There seemed to be plumbing issues as our bathroom stunk. The TV was unplugged, and the remote did not work. There were just a lot of little things that added up.

The room stank of cigarettes, the coffee machine did not work, 2 ice machines did not work, at breakfast, the coffee and juice machines did not work, very limited food, the surroundings of the hotel lacked maintenance.
