We had a very comfortable stay at this Hilton. Housekeeping did a great job EVERY DAY! Can’t remember the last time we had daily housekeeping service. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Having the ability to walk right out to the beach was definitely a bonus. Hopefully we will return to this Hilton on a future trip.

Learned my lesson
Overpriced for an old and tired facility. Not only is it too expensive for what it is, once you pile on the resort fee, the valet service and the overpriced restaurant for breakfast, the Hampton, and Holiday are much better value.No hot tub. Holiday Inm and Hampton next door have one. We won’t make the mistake of staying here again

Beach Weekend
The room was clean and comfortable. The beach bar area was nice to hang out it (the weather was a tad chilly to swim in the ocean). The Hilton is right on the beach with easy access to the ocean. The pool was nice, warm and clean. We needed more towels at one point and I messaged the front desk for more towels and TP. We got a couple of bath towels. I then messaged again for more hand towels/washcloths/TP and Coffee. We got the coffee. I finally went to the concierge desk and asked for towels. They were delivered.

They have serious issue on the service team. Room was not ready until 5pm upon arrival so that we waited and then missed the sunset that we planned to see. There's no house keeping on the next day, we called multiple times and they promised, but nothing, they had too few people on the staffing, possible to save money but the result is no service. My desk lamp was broken and never able to turn it on, all power outlet were loose and my charger blocks fells off easily, you have to be lucky to keep your phone remain charging. The ocean view room does sees the beach and sea, but the first thing you will see is the large area of messy roof for their parking lot that's built on the ground floor. Bathroom counter top was old, with cracks and suspicious yellowish stuff in the seams... I do not recommend this place.

We arrived around 315pm on our day of check-in. Pulled into the parking lot and was not given the option to self park but was forced to use valet. Upon making our way to the lobby (which can take a while depending on how busy it is because there was only one set of small elevators), we were about the 6th people that were told the rooms weren’t ready and had to then return to the bell hop to store our luggage until they text to let us know when it would be (which was in fact after the 4pm check in time). When we checked in I was also informed that there was a $29 valet fee and $35 parking fee which was interesting because not once were we given the option to not use valet and if I’m paying for mandatory valet l, why am I also paying a second fee for parking? The next morning when we went to use the pool we were questioned about our room and last name when we went to grab towels and was told we had to let them know when we returned them despite that not being an issue the day prior and needing keys to access hotel guest only areas. We were also not allowed to sit at the pool with our Starbucks because there was no “outside food or drinks” allowed even though it was literally attached to the hotel. We ended up leaving Clearwater early at that point and moving in to our next destination. Overall, I was incredibly unimpressed and would not bother staying here again.

Super close to the beech which makes this perfect. We heavily considered other hotels in the area. This came in a just a bit more affordable and was worth the money. Might go elsewhere next time for a different experience but the location can't be beat. Service was good and staff was very friendly. Plenty of dining and entertainment options around. We thought it would be warm and it wasn't what we expected but that's on us not Hilton. Room was a bit cramped but we knew it would be small.
