The hotel was clean. Staff are all friendly and good. Rooms need a little refurbishment in the carpet, furniture and bathroom. All are clean! Beds were fabulous. Pool was nice. Always sun at pool .

The hotel has excellent location, but it is a tired old building. They should really do something about renovating. The bathrooms are ugly, mine overflowed at 2 am in the morning, and the elevators did not work except for one. It was a mees trying t get to the lobby.

The location is nice, a few blocks from the main street downtown area but almost smack in between the Dali museum and the happening spots. The hotel appears very nice and the lobby area was very nice. We arrived for a 2 day stay as i was running a race in the area. We arrived Fri to Sun. Saturday due to my race we were out of the room from 6am until 2pm when we returned to shower and change. When we arrived on friday the room smelled of cleaning chem which is understandable and after a few hours it went away. The beds are full size beds which appeared clean and were a 6 out of 10 in comfort. The room was just the 2 full size beds with a closet space and bathroom. The room was clean aswell as the bathroom. Sat when we arrived our floor and room smelled of Marijuana. We called the front desk and informed and after a while it went away, the shower drain was very slow to drain, the toilet must have had a leak as it kept turning on the water to fill the tank, and the AC did not turn off for very long and when it did the room quickly became stuffy and humid. Perhaps this may seem like a rant but just describing the experience since i would assume Hilton Bayfront would be better First time staying in this particular Hotel as we stay in the area a few times a year since we like the downtown st pete area. For the price there are better options that include breakfast, bigger rooms, quieter and more comfortable and that do not charge a $42 a night Valet fee which is optional ofcourse..

The stay was lovely but the room was clean other than the back of the bathroom door, it had hair on it and the wall behind the door needed cleaned. So the just opened the door and cleaned but didn't look behind the door.

From the valet parking to the buffet waitress they all were very Nice and Courteous. Kim from St Augustine was so on point pending to our table. Will definitely return to stay again!!
