Check in process was awful, upon landing at the airport I wasn't even sure we had a place to stay. When we arrived at the location there was a note on the office door saying to call, cellular service was sketchy so thank God we actually connected. Got our code for our room. The room was tidy but not "clean". The tv remotes were all broken, the ceiling fan remotes were all broken. We managed to get the fans on and the lights off but that took no less than an hour of messing around switching batteries in the remotes. You can not cast to the Tv's. only their cable was available. There were no beach towels, no beach chairs, no umbrella. Nothing for actually going onto the beach. I called the property management company on our second day with questions and was quickly blown off. The answer to every question I had was "Not all of our properties are managed by our company" which made no sense to me as to why they were the contact.? To rent one of the wooden chaise lounge chairs on the beach it was going to be $35/daily. The beach was very dirty, it was not cleaned the whole time we were there. (3 days) The best part was the pool was fairly clean, (the cement surrounding the pool was another story) and it was actually warm. I do not plan to return to the area or this rental. I also would have been happier if we could have moved our reservation out one or two weeks since our entire stay was rain, but that was not an option with this renter, apparently.
