Me and my husband recently stayed here overnight to celebrate a special Birthday.
It was a lovely, clean hotel with a great bar and restaurant area.
Pros: A lovely looking hotel,clean and inviting.
The food in the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. I would definatly eat here again. The staff were brilliant. They were so helpful and friendly and very hard working. The bed in our room was very comfortable and we were provided with enough tea,coffee, hot chocolate for our stay.
Cons: we were driving around for around 30 mins trying to find the carpark from the postcode we were given. We eventually had to leave the car elsewhere and walk up to the hotel. We wernt the only guests that couldnt find the carpark that day. Poor directions and we later found out it was on a different road that the origional postcode took us to. It would benefit the hotel and guests to update this information and make it easier to find. We did try to ring the hotel 4 times to get directions and nobody answered. When arriving at the hotel we did have to wait a good 5 minutes for someone to come and check us in.
We still really enjoyed our stay here and would come again, there were just a few little things that could be changed for the better.
