Fantastic value!
Beds were really comfortable, staff were attentive and friendly, room was well equipped, and shower was fantastic. Only slight niggles were a wobbly tap and the ground level view across a public car park. However, we would definitely stay here again.

Location was the main reason. Otherwise, the breakfast was OK. Main problem was the long walk to our room. I have a lung/breathing problem, wife has to use a walking stick yet our room was right at the end of the 3rd floor (Room 339).

Adequate hotel Friendly helpful staff
The room wasn’t ready at 7pm as they were unaware we were arriving. The staff were friendly and polite. They sorted things out when they realised. The mattress could be doing with a bit more stuffing as when myself and my partner got into the double bed it sagged and we rolled into the dip in the middle. Breakfast was fine and the staff were visible to help if anything ran out.

We stayed here a few years ago and found it very convenient for travelling north and stayed again last week. The property is kept clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, happy to talk to customers and helpful, the carpet to the dining area was clean which can be difficult to achieve with so many visitors. There was sufficient choice for breakfast, cooked or cold.
