Overall, the stay was sufficient. We simply needed a place to sleep for a one night. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. However, the door to our room would not open after we locked it. We eventually jiggled it in a way that allowed us to open the door. However, that’s a serious safety issue. The room was clean, but it needed some attention to detail, especially in the corners of the bathroom. We didn’t have time to check out the rest of the hotel. Although a little dated, the property looked nice.

I was accosted by a homeless person aggressively panhandling while just outside the front door waiting for valet parking. The mechanical door look was falling out of the door frame. There was a significant amount of water on the inside window frame . It appears the window seal is compromised. Mandated valet service should have been published.

I booked 2 rooms for my son’s graduation. I requested them next to each other. I received an email the night before saying we would not be able to park at the hotel and had to pay for off site parking. Our rooms were also at opposite ends of the floor without notification!

I picked this hotel because it was on the same block as the theater we were going to see a show at. The hotel was very clean and nice, the valet parking was a treat. It has great restaurants right next door. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was very nice too. Everything very convenient. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Stamford.

Hotel itself is nice. Newly refurbished room. Road leading to property is under construction so it was difficult to get to. Only valet parking available. Was double charged for parking. The desk clerk took care of that very easily. Noise on the street around the hotel was very loud late at night and we were on the highest floor. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but guests were very loud in hallways at 2am.
