Welcome to the Eagle’s Nest Inn. This rare, large and private lakefront home sits on 1 acre and is surrounded by beautiful towering blue spruce on crystal clear Clifford Lake. Clifford lake is one of the most quiet and serene lakes in Michigan. The home is located 45 minutes northeast of Grand Rapids between Greenville and Stanton Michigan. Come and enjoy the sun-soaked days on the lake while swimming, fishing, water skiing, tubing, boating or just relaxing in nature. Keep an eye out for the majestic bald eagle soaring overhead! We also have a pontoon available for an additional charge waiting for you at the dock or you can bring your own boat. This home boasts a lovely, manicured yard with a large 24-foot round above ground swimming pool, a sun deck, a covered deck and lower patio area for dining all overlooking the pristine 200-acre all-sports Clifford Lake. The home is also equipped with a whole home generator, so no vacation time will be lost if power is interrupted. There is also a play area and swing set for children and adults too who love to swing! On the street side of the home there is a top-of-the-line adjustable height basketball hoop for half-court basketball games and a ping pong table in the garage. Near the water's edge you’ll find a covered pavilion to enjoy the beach and the boats passing by. Relax the days away under the pavilion in the shade or down on the beach soaking up some rays and getting lost in that book you’ve been wanting to read while you enjoy the cool lake breeze. The evening is a great time to enjoy the bright stars and a crackling fire as you roast some marshmallows and tell ghost stories or simply reminisce about days gone by. The property has a beautiful stone fire pit patio area Just below the deck. Campfire wood is provided at no additional charge. Clifford Lake is known for its crystal-clear water and its historic Clifford Inn Lake front restaurant. Also, it is one of the few lakes in Michigan that allows sea planes to land and take off. If you have a sea plane there is plenty of room at the dock! The Clifford Inn Restaurant was built in 1881. It has been officially declared as haunted and is said to be home to 2 ghosts. Megan, a teenage ghost who is afraid of people, so she spends most of her time in the attic and Edward who loves and enjoys the many people who visit. Megan and Edward are always on their best behavior and are very friendly to all. You can drive or boat over and dock right at the restaurant and enjoy a wonderful meal and/or cocktails on their grand lakeside deck or inside in the dining room or bar area while enjoying the rustic cottage-like atmosphere. The pork chop meal is fantastic! The Clifford Inn also has weekly entertainment check out their facebook page for shows and times. During rainy or colder seasons, there is plenty of room inside the home to spread out to play games, talk or watch a movie. There is a TV in every bedroom living and family room as well as wi-fi fiber internet throughout the home. On the lower level we have a Bose sound system with surround sound for an at home theater experience. Also enjoy preparing gourmet meals in the gorgeous kitchen, relax in the warm spacious living room or the very roomy lower-level family room with a fireplace and exercise area. This home is a great place for large families who enjoy re-connecting and making memories to last a lifetime.
Guests will have whole house access except for owners cleaning closet, detached 3 car garage and workshop building next to 3 car garage.

HOUSE RULES:
- The CHECK OUT LIST must be completed before leaving on check out day. If the check-out list isn't completed, we may have to charge for an additional cleaning.
- Only guests 27 and older may book our house. VRBO doesn't have this as an option for hosts, but we will cancel your booking if you are under 27. We may request valid ID to verify your age.
- Absolutely no smoking, vaping, juuling on the property. If the house smells of any type of smoke or vape, you will be charged for an additional cleaning fee. Absolutely no illegal drugs on the property.
-No Jet skis
- No guests allowed other than who is on the original reservation. (unless previously discussed with the host)
- Overnight stays of unregistered guests will result in immediate eviction.
- No Parties allowed.
- Quiet time between 10pm and 7am per township ordinance.
- No wake time for boats or PWC between 7:30pm and 11am. Boat and lake travel is counter clockwise. No wake 100 or closer to shore.
- No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room.
- No pets allowed.
- Make sure to turn off the lights and any electronics when you leave the house and please don't forget to close the windows and lock the doors.
- Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner.
- Only 8 vehicles are allowed by registered guests unless prior approval is granting additional vehicles. No street parking.
- Please leave your shoes in the front entry area during winter and wet days.
- Dispose of the garbage in the proper trash bins.
- Wash dry and put away the dishes and throw out the garbage before checkout. Only small pieces of food in garbage disposal. We have a septic system so please scrape dishes in trash. -Do not flush condoms, baby wipes, tampons or any other hygiene products. Only toilet paper as you will cause major damage and destruction to septic system.
- Parents must be present and watching all children while in the pool or in the lake.
- No candles.
- No excessive drinking.
- No Fireworks of any kind are allowed on the property.
- No bounce houses or slip'n'slides allowed.
- Don't move any furniture.
