Location, location, location! Great access to all the best spots Big South Fork has to offer…hiking, exploring, sightseeing, kayaking, canoeing, etc.

Clean, crisp, and ready for guests! Enjoy 5 private acres across from the park and only 3 miles to Blue Heron Mine / River Access. You may have the opportunity to enjoy the company of our personal horses that sometimes stay on the property as well.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing - loaded with charm, character, and comfort. The cottage style coziness offers a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Two bedrooms ( 1 Queen and 1 Full) and a full bath gives plenty of room for 2-3 guests, up to 4 can book. One full bath with a Claw Foot tub/shower combo - soak or shower, whichever you prefer! Fully stocked kitchen and spacious living room with plenty of seating. Washer and Dryer available. High Speed WIFI and a big screen TV for Streaming are a part of the package.

Enjoy the outdoor space on the large country porch or the backyard seating area. Views include barns, fenced pasture, and a wooded area background.

Blue Heron Cottage is located 50 yards off the main road that leads to Blue Heron Mining Area.

Cozy & clean!
We were looking for somewhere that was centrally located to local hiking & attractions, this cabin was within 20 mins to a bunch of hiking spots. I was worried that we'd have trouble with a our baby's pack n play but the primary bedroom had a giant closet attached that worked perfectly as a nursery. The cottage itself was very clean & adorably decorated. The only bummer was the horses weren't there but we did get some deer visitors!

Cute, comfortable and quiet!
This was a cozy little spot for a getaway with my husband. The place was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The sofas and bed were very comfortable. The host was super responsive and nice. Lights were in for us when we arrived which was great because it was late. The lawn was freshly mowed but could have used some weed eating- this did not bother us. It was also clean, with the exception of some cobwebs on the kitchen counter. I see this being easily overlooked and it wasn’t a big deal.

Clean & comfy
We hiked the surrounding Daniel Boone National Forest and Big South Fork. This location is very close to many great hikes and nature sights to see. The house was very clean and everything was very nice. It has a front porch and back patio for some outside time. You can see alot of stars at night due to less light pollution. Comfortable bed. Cute decor. Will give this house an A. The only thing stopping it from being A+ is the bathroom shower is clawfoot tub with surrounding shower curtain so was difficult and the a/c was not working for our visit for which the owner provided portable a/c unit that cooled enough but was very loud. Would recommend! Overall was a great place to stay!!

Beautiful cottage. Very clean and nicely decorate!!! Just as described in listing. We loved the front porch and rear seating areas. It was bigger than we expected too. Easy check in and check out. Host very responsive.
