I was on a budget so I booked this hotel. It certainly is dated and the rugs looked dirty. The TV's are a challenge to get to work. You have to use 2 remotes and the communication with each to the TV is VERY slow to respond. A/C worked great. Too many properties have a poor HVAC system. I was fortunate here. Fairly close to campus, but no direct route. With a little snooping around you can find the nearest N/S bound street to go west to the campus. Breakfast was free. You get what you pay for. Very pedestrian and a SMALL eating area. You may wait for a while if it is filled.

Our stay started off a little bumpy with room assignments but the staff was very apologetic and worked quickly to resolve. Customer service was amazing. Rooms are spacious and we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for something new and modern, this may not be the place for you. If you’re looking for a place with spacious rooms, character and great customer service this is the place!

Perfect couples room!
The only negative was having to wait almost an hour past check in time for our room to be ready. After we got to the room all was forgiven. It was clean. Spacious. The jetted tub and walk in shower were both amazing! Bed was comfortable. Loved the couch for tv watching and reading.

When we checked into the room there was trash in the room. Unknown if someone else was staying in the room or what. We called the front desk and they gave us another room. The TV did not work all three days were were there. I asked the staff and they said it was the TV provider issue.

It was fine. It felt dated. Also, the room would not get dark for sleeping. There was only a thin shade and no curtains. There was also a drive through restaurant right outside our window with bright lights all night long.

The room was very comfortable. However, parked outside was a motor tour bus that ran all night long preventing a good Sleep. These buses need to park offsite

Very clean and nice, but the door to the room looks like someone tried to break in. The toilet handle sticksand makes the toilet run until you fix it. Some areas need overall maintenance and upkeep.

Hotel has declined in the past year
We always stay at this hotel when we come to Stillwater, mainly for the location since it is walking distance to the campus and for the hotel bar. It's not the nicest hotel we have stayed in but was always clean and the bar was a big plus since we have lots of friends that stay there at the same time for sporting events. This past weekend we were informed the bar had closed for good and experienced several maintenence issues. This hotel needs lots of TLC and updating. We have 2 more weekends booked coming up but after this spring we probably won't stay there again unless the new owners do some updating and open the bar back up.
