Beautiful hotel in great area
This is my second stay at Motel L, and even after 8 years, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The neighbourhood is quiet and has nice-looking modern buildings, is near the water, plus there is a handy little supermarket on the same block. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Also, the hotel is near public transport to easily get into Stockholm central. I highly recommend.

The hotel welcomes you as soon as you get into the main lobby. The room was a good size for four people and very clean, with no weird smells. The breakfast was delicious. The public transportation was in front of the hotel, and 15 minutes, you could be in downtown Stockholm. I strongly recommend.

Stylish, new property. Sold out when I was there which suggests price is right. But on the outskirts, so not walkable to major sights. Looked popular with corporate worker/conference stays. Bus lines right outside the door, or $13 Uber ride to train station. Dog friendly.

Can't go wrong with Motel L
I can't say enough great things about Motel L: impeccably clean rooms that make smart use of a smaller space, lots of power outlets, heated floors and a GREAT shower in the bathroom. Great communication with staff when I had a late check in due to flight delays. The light rail line stops outside the hotel and takes you directly to the metro where you can get to Södermalm, Gamla Stan & central Stockholm in minutes. A supermarket, pharmacy and coffee shop can be found in the same building. Overall, a terrific hotel and even better value in an expensive city!
