The Victory hotel is brilliant - full of quirky antiques, lots of lovely touches and a very friendly approachable ethos. The hotel breakfast catered for everyone's taste. We tried the hotel sauna which was a brilliant experience to add to our stay

Great location for enjoying Gamla Stan and easy to walk and explore further afield. The hotel is delightfully quirky - almost a museum with so many items related to the days of sailing ships - the bed really comfortable and the breakfasts are special. Such a choice and a great way to set you up for the day. Would definitely recommend and would choose again if visiting Stockholm again.

Quirky hotel with a fascinating collection of maritime objects, there was so much to look at, it was like staying in a museum! The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is in a great location to explore Stockholm.

The place is good if you are staying in Gamla Stan, very walkable, near a metro station, the rooms are clean but fairly small, the shower was a little complicated to control, specially for a cabin. The hotel is home to two fabulous restaurants with amazing people working there and of course the Tweed bar, where J and the crew make the best cocktails I’ve tried. Their staff in general is amazing, kind and helpful.

Beautifully decorated, but some comfort issues. Most importantly, the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The shower had two shower heads, which was convenient, but one had an unnecessary amount of water pressure to the point that we had to turn it almost off to use it Robes, slippers, towel warmer, espresso maker, and a night cap drink provided on the first night was a nice touch. The hotel bar was very loud and ridiculously crowded. While located within walking distance to many other places, it would have been nice to sit at the bar on location. Cute hotel with some nice features, but I wouldn’t book again because of the bed.

The lady in the hotel lobby was amazing. She knew that we were leaving early, so she prepared a breakfast to go for us as the buffet was not yet available. This exceeded our expectation from the hotel.

A unique, quirky and attractive hotel. The welcome was warm and the room gorgeous. Lovely extra touches - mulled wine and snacks at reception, port and chocolate our first night, large towels and fluffy bathrobes, super comfy beds and pillows and tea/coffee making facilities in the corridors. Friendly, helpful staff and the most amazing breakfast! The bathroom was fab with a large shower. First thing, we had to run the hot tap for quite a while for it to come through and there was no drawer space but plenty of room in the wardrobe to improvise and lots of hangers/room for toiletries. Hairdryer/cotton pads/buds/shampoo/body wash provided. Drinking water from the tap crisply cold. We didn't want to leave and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location super quirky hotel
We stayed here for one night , as a stopover before travelling up to northern Sweden. Overall opinion is that the hotel was relatively good value for money, considering you are in the old town of Stockholm. It’s an old building with a unique quirky style and feeling …. It’s not for everyone but what is .. and it’s certainly not a generic clone copy of a chain hotel. Room We had a standard captains room. Smallish room but with a large bathroom . Comfy large bed . No tea and coffee in the room or mini fridge, but there were two bottles of water. Very clean Bathroom Nice size , with two sinks and a large shower. Thermostat on shower clearly not working as the shower brought about the infamous hot and cold dance routine …. Very clean Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10, great ambience and whilst it looked small , it offered everything you needed and seemed of good quality … loved it ! Wouldn’t stay here again, but no regrets with the choice it’s a great location , clean and super quirky
