The guy at the front desk was very friendly and professional. I've worked his job for many years so I know... And he impressed me. The area made me wary, but not as bad as some areas in Stockton. This is the nicest safest decently priced hotel close to St Joseph's. The ONLY complaint I had was the bed was awful. Couldn't sleep. Ended up sleeping diagonally with my head at the foot of the bed. It was like a hammock made out of springs. Granted maybe I had an old bed. The room definitely looked updated, so I understand maybe they hadn't done beds yet. Everything else was great, more than I even expected for the price and location. Had a full-size fridge, electric cooktop, provided pans and cookware too. The pool area was very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again if I have to stay in Stockton again.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, and the room very nice. The guests upstairs were very noisy. Overall, we would definitely stay there again. Next time though we'll stay on the 3rd floor. ;)
