Cozy Cabin Among the Trees - Rustic Charm, Modern Comforts, 26 Secluded Acres

Nestled among the trees on 26 acres, this cozy 700 square foot cabin offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. A 1/4-mile wooded driveway leads to this charming retreat, where you can relax on the porch swing or take a nap in the hammock while watching deer and turkey.
Filled with games and books, this cabin is perfect for those rainy days. Located just 2 miles from the Quemahoning Reservoir, you'll be minutes away from fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The Laurel Highlands area offers plenty of outdoor adventures, including visits to the Flight 93 Memorial and nearby state parks. You're also just a short drive from Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, Seven Springs, and Hidden Valley.
Please note, this cabin is rustic and has been updated with modern amenities, but does not have a TV or WiFi. There is cell service, but we encourage you to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature during your stay. The loft area is off limits to guests and the spiral staircase leading up to it is not to be used.
The driveway is dirt and gravel and requires an AWD or 4x4 vehicle during the winter months. Drive slowly and enjoy the scenic journey up the small gravel hill to the cabin.
Absolutely no pets are permitted in the cabin.

It truly is a cozy cabin among the trees. I needed an escape from life's daily intrusions and interruptions and this place did not disappoint. Definitely need 4WD or all wheel drive to get up the driveway in the winter months. Already scheduled my next stay. Bring a book!!

Relax and enjoy some tranquility
Awesome cabin tucked away from the world. Fun woods to explore all around. Comfortable beds with all the linens; clean bathroom with towels; everything is there that you'd need in the kitchen...pots, pans, silverware, measuring spoons and cup, a can opener, baking dishes, etc. Just know there's no dishwasher or microwave. Driveway is tricky for about the first 30 feet or so especially after it's rained. After that it's a gravel driveway that's a fun ride to the cabin. I'd absolutely stay here again!

The cabin is absolutely stunning and the woods were so peaceful. We loved being in the middle of nowhere and enjoying the time by ourselves. The overlook area of the mountains and valley was beautiful and just made everything more amazing. My boyfriend loved it so much that he asked me to marry him there. We are planning to return for our honeymoon.

Quiet and cozy!
This cabin and property was everything we hoped for. Very clean, comfortable and well stocked with anything you would need! Saw a family of deer several times and cooked all but one meal outside (although the kitchen was fully stocked)! Comfortable sleeping, well furnished and we didn’t miss the tv, microwave or Wi-Fi! We were definitely able to disconnect and enjoyed our time. We’ll definitely go back some day!

Awesome get away cabin
I came here with my wife. It was a beautiful area nice and quite. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Only comlaint is the drive way in. Its has huge indents and its difficult to get up. Would recommend driving a pickup with good tires if youre gonna stay.

Cabin is beautiful well maintained. Peaceful surrounding located up on top of a hill. Look out view that is to die for. No owner of the property go out of the way to make your visit pleasant. Would the outdoor fire pits and hammock You can relax and enjoy your stay. There’s no TV, but they supply radio for your listening pleasure and in such a peaceful setting who wants to sit around and watch a TV anyway. I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation

Absolutely amazing stay!! The property is exactly as described. It was peaceful, secluded and exactly what we were looking for. You may note that some have expressed concerns with the driveway to the cabin. Rest assured, even in a 2wd car you CAN make it up the driveway, just drive slowly as the host says and you will be fine. Thank you Chris for allowing us to stay at your magnificent property, we will be back!

Driveway is a little intimidating, but going slow is the key. The cabin is lovely and comfortable. Everything you need is there except a microwave, I’m not a big fan, so OK with me. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, silverware and dishes. My biggest compliment is that I didn’t want to leave! Could have stayed weeks, once I got used to be unconnected. Great place!
