Location Description:
Some of the most popular restaurants at the lake are close by and so is the grocery store along with the large local music venue, Ozarks Amphitheater. Nothing is very far!

Getting There:
The cabin is less than 3 hours from Kansas City and St. Louis and less than a 1/2 day from Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. Major highways lead to the lake with blacktop roads up to the entry of the neighborhood.

Pet Friendly Property Guidelines
- Pet fee of $20 per night per pet is required. This will be added with the booking or shortly after depending on where you are booking through.
- Pets must be on leash when outside and pets cannot be left unattended outside
- Pets must be crated / kenneled when left in the home alone
- Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of
- Owner shall provide and utilize a “cover” (i.e. blanket / quilt) should the pet get onto furniture
- Excessive hair on furniture or bedding and / or not managing pet waste can result in additional fines

Overall, we had a great time at the lake. The only things that would make this property better would be if the walk to the dock was not as steep and rocky, and if the neighbors dog would not bark quite so much. But, those are not things the property manger has much, if any, control over. It’s a pretty good spot for a couple and their dogs.

Clean, Great Location
Overall, our rental was clean, great location, perfect for what we had in mind for our LOZ trip. However, we were contacted the day before our reservation stating the new mgt company was not honoring our rented dates. There was a scramble to find us a place to stay, and although Pamela did find us a perfect spot, communication could have been much better. If we had been in our original rental, the emails, communications and info was spot on, better than anything I have experienced before. However due to our issue with rental changes, communication was not great at all (emails, calls, texts, had to contact Vrbo to get a hold of someone from the mgt group) and we were left wondering where our new place was until after 12pm the day of our rental. If it wasn’t for the lack of communication and complete last minute changes to our rental, I would have given this a 5-Star review. I’d like to think that because of the new mgt group taking over our original rental and not honoring our dates, and Pamela scrambling to find us a spot, our original plan would have been executed flawlessly without any hiccups. I would still rent from this group again, and would not deter anyone from renting from them, just giving an honest review of our experience. Although frustrating at first, LOZ was a wonderful trip and the rental we were put in was perfect!

This is a fabulous cute, tiny home. It has absolutely everything you need. The hot tub is perfect. The deck has spectacular views. The fire pit is a great place to hang out. It was an absolutely fabulous experience. And the little gift bag. Thank you so much.

We only left the cabin to get groceries. Excellent WiFi - work and stream, then go sit in the hot tub and watch the cove. Very clean. Nicely appointed. The doggo was very comfortable, too. Thanks for the stay.

Perfect Place For Us
My husband and I stayed here 4 nights and had a hard time leaving the next day….we would’ve loved to have stayed longer, but unfortunately had to get back home. The area is quiet with lots of shade, lake view, friendly neighbors, our dog was allowed, which means a lot to us. The place was VERY CLEAN, and as pictured. We would like to stay at this location again in the future. Would recommend to others.
